Love this knife sharpener! It's so easy to use and very effective. Every time I use a knife, I just swipe this over the blade about three times and it maintains a perfectly sharp edge. The price is reasonable and the product is great.

This is a fast efficient way to put some extra life into an old knife. I'm certain there are far more advanced ways to get a perfect edge on your knife, but if you're just looking to improve an old budget kitchen knife, it does the job well. Getting a super sharp edge takes lots of time and effort... this tool will get you a fairly sharp edge in minimal effort.

My knives are about 17 years old, an expensive set purchased at a home and garden show. They aren’t used much anymore as I live alone and don’t cook like I used to. I figured I would try to sharpen them myself as opposed to mailing them to the company as they suggest. This sharpener is super easy to use, a simple design that fit comfortably in my small hand. I used 2 strokes on my straight edged knives with very little pressure. I got to use my most used knife on a tomato and wasn’t sure how it would work. Surprisingly it cut this tomato with ease, probably better than when new. I was very pleased and have used a couple of the other knives with the same results! Very pleased when used on stew meat, sliced right through with no drag. Very pleased with this simple to use tool, it does the job well. Stores easily in the gadget drawer.

For the cost, this is an absolutely great deal. Surprisingly, the incredibly dull steak knives that I had as well as a fillet knife were able to take a new quite sharp edge with just a few strokes of this sharpener. What's not to like. It works. I'm not going up against Bobby Flay in my kitchen but after sharpening my knives they cut chicken and raw meat like a razor.

This is the best knife sharpener I've ever had. I've purchased rolling sharpeners, European sharpeners, and sharpening stones. This very inexpensive sharpener is the best. The sharpness lasts and lasts, and is so easy to use. I've taken dull steak knives and sharpened them 20x down the blade, and man.... their edge is so sharp, I have to warn my guests. Then just a few strokes to resharpen..... Easy-peasy.

This worked amazingly on my knife set; very easy to use and provides instructions to open and alternate the sharpeners themselves (although I won't need to do for a long time since the quality of the sharpening blades is very good).
