Murray's Edge Wax Extreme Hold, 4 Ounce (952881_SML)

Used to be able to find this hair wax in store but no longer can so Amazon it is. Works great with thick hair. Holds great, hair is still pliable. Gives your hair a slight shine. My husband is a hairdresser so we have tried many different kinds of wax and this is my favorite. Use this daily on my son who is very active in martial arts. I have this on auto ship. 1 tub will last a few months so a great value. I like the smell also

Its been hard finding an edge control that has my edges stay put for even more than 15 minutes but this one really does the trick! Its best to make sure you're really using enough so that your hairs are all saturated enough to really sit if theyre anywhere as difficult as mine. For extra control I like to put another gel on top after they've set a bit like the Curls Blueberry Bliss Control Gel and just slightly mix it on top w/o disrupting the hairs and my edges actually stay all day. really awesome

I love it! It is a little bit sticky but it is not flaky and it stuck really well throughout the day. It does smell a lil bit like chapstick lol but it's not strong and overwhelming.

This is a great product to use around the edges of my hair. I love it! Also, the package arrived on time as expected.

I like any hair product Murrays produces. This edge control is kind of hard to define. While on one hand it immediately grabs the hair and lays it down, it also infuses moisture into the hair, which sometimes causes the hair to coil. Perhaps, i simply need to add more product; but, I think overall it's going to be useful for certain natural styles. I think this product might be good for dry hair and for certain natural styles like, twists and coils. I haven't used it for those styles, but, if I do, I will revisit this review and update my findings.

I use this edge control for when I do my box braids or any type of protective style. It is thick edge control which I love. But Murray’s edge control isn’t really for your edges especially if you have naturally curly hair. I once had a relaxer and used Murray’s edge control and my hair was sleek alllll day !! But when I tried using for my natural texture it wouldn’t last the whole day. It’s not a bad Edge control it just doesn’t last long. I think it’s better to use for when you want to wear a protective style.

Finally the search is over 🙏🏽🙏🏽*insert praise dance* I can't count how many edge control products I've tried. Most work great when your hair is relaxed but this product has become a staple in my hair drawer. Relaxed or natural my edges are perfect. No residue, not stiff and I didn't have to wrap my edges to set it in place. You also don't need a ton of product to get the look you want. I'm so happy I gave this a chance.

Did individual passion twists for the first time (by myself), and used this on each twist. I love the fact that it tamed my natural hair, kept it in place and together, without making it hard or sticky. Actually kept it moisturized, with absolutely no flakes the next day. Totally happy as it had all I was looking for and more!
