Scare tactics
This product looks real and great to scare people that are afraid of snakes

Very realistic and posable, but only lasted about a year
This is a very realistic looking snake and is easy to pose in different positions. Our goal of scaring birds away from our front porch wasn't successful, but it has scared a lot of friends! The only downside is, after a year of being outside (on a covered porch, so not exposed to sunlight, rain or any other weather) the rubber started to degrade to the point where it was falling apart. However, we were so impressed with this one, we ordered another one in hopes it would at least be partially effective in deterring birds from the porch. Probably the most realistic fake snake I've seen.

Straightest snake I've found, but not necessarily fully straight.
I own a landscaping business and for years, I've given fake snakes to my employees to have a little fun with one another on jobs. I have no idea why 99% of snakes have "curved" heads? Seems like someone could do well if they actually made a straight one. This snake is by-far the best one I've found. It's straight enough, but not fully straight. Not at all a deal breaker though.

Good quality fake snake!
I bought the snake to be a decoy on my balcony to deter the squirrels away from my plants. I was having a real problem with them digging in my soil and destroying the flowers on my blooming plants. They were an absolute menace in early spring digging up my bulbs and throwing dirt all over my patio. I had tried making a hot sauce pepper spray and I had also tried coffee grounds, both worked to a point but had to be maintenance a lot anytime it rained or the garden got watered. This seems to be working pretty well. As long as we keep moving the snake around every couple days or so the squirrels stay off the balcony. The actual snake itself is heavier than I expected, it feels like an actual snake! As the other reviews have said, the head stays curled but the rest of the body can be posed as you want. Since I'm just using the snake as a decoy against squirrels and not a prank against people I'm not too worried about the fact that the head is in a locked position. The snake and it's coloring seems to be holding up well despite being in the sun for long periods of time day in and day out. It doesn't seem to be overly affected by the heat, it's not melting or becoming disfigured in any way it also seems to be surviving the rain!

Very realistic. Perfect for pranks
I used this in the field and other places at work. Realistic enough for quick scares. I tied a piece of fishing line to it so the people I tricked set the trap on themselves.

Decent if you don't keep it in the sun
I bought this to sit in my peach tree. I don't want animals stealing my peaches. It looks real enough unless you let it sit in the Sun in which it will dry out and crack.

Worked
So lifelike it scared my snake loving daughter. I used it as a three part approach to keep animals away from.my peach tree at night. The netting alone wasnt working, but this awesome snake, the netting, and musical Christmas lights did the job!! Not a single peach was harmed this year, where I usually have a number that are visibly eaten even though my tree is wrapped in bird netting.
