As a professional tradesperson, I need products that are reliable, easy to apply and built to last, and OB1 consistently delivers. It has excellent initial grab and bonds extremely well to a wide range of materials, even in situations where other products can struggle. The finish is neat, it tools nicely, and it cures to a strong yet flexible seal that stands up well to movement, moisture and changing weather conditions. One of the biggest advantages is its versatility. Whether I’m sealing, bonding or carrying out repairs, it’s often the first product I reach for. It also adheres well to slightly damp surfaces, making it particularly useful for emergency repairs. The anthracite colour is a spot-on match for modern grey trim, and it doesn't shrink or crack like some cheaper sealants do over time. It gives a really neat, professional finish and holds tight straight away, even if the surface is a bit damp when you apply it. It’s easily the most reliable thing I’ve used for sealing up gaps.

Reliable and long lasting

Perfect for my requirements: I needed to add a upvc skirt underneath a coastal, south facing wooden window to protect the render which gets battered by the weather and OB1 was just the ticket. You will need to clamp larger items in place while OB1 cures for a few hours.

It’s a decent sealant and adhesive but the oak colour is a million miles from the nozzle indicator. Even the promotional picture above highlights the difference! Really don’t understand how the manufacturers think sometimes? Surely it can’t be that difficult to match the colour.
