Will it fit in a standard car cup holder?

Absolutely. It fits in all of our cup holders just fine. The diameter is about the same as the bottom of a medium-large coffee cup from any convenience store.

Is there any way to get a new lid? mine fell hard and cracked...

I emailed them that the trigger mechanism broke and they sent me a new lid at no charge. They did ask for some information from the bottom of the mug and we were done. Arrival was within their specified 7-10 working days. I sure missed mine when the cap broke though!
