What is the correct measurements of this towel

Good Day, The Mission Enduracool towel pictured that I sell is approximately 41 inches long by 6 inches wide, a generous length. I have the same towel in pink and leopard. I also have the headband and wristband package. Hope you find this helpful!

What are the air temperature and humidity conditions required to achieve the 30 degree temperature difference shown in the commercial?

I have not measured the exact conditions you mention, but it is significantly colder than the air temp under all the conditions I have used it in.

Is there any sense in which this product is more effective than a regular terry cloth towel? If so, what?

A Terry cloth towel isn't even comparable. This is really more of a scarf. I love mine, but I'm coming back for another color to coordinate with more of my outdoor wardrobe. Also, after a few years of heavy use, mine still gets cold, but it doesn't last quite as long.

Does anyone know if it will cool my dog through his fur?

Sorry I don’t know if it will cool dogs. I bought 4 if these and my sons and I use them at work everyday during the summer. We have also been using them here lately with my oldest sons daughter coach pitch ball team. They really help keep the 6 year old girls cool while playing in 115 degree heat index. For my dogs I have plastic pools filled with fresh cold water everyday. They are always laying in it when we come home from work.
