Black Magic 120164 Factory Black Trim Restorer

At first I was concerned of the small bottle size. What I wasn't prepared for is this product works amazingly well, it's easy to apply and it somehow covers a lot of surface area with only a small amount applied to the applicator. So far I've been able to put treatment on our RAM truck door handles, large mirrors, rear bumper panel and the running boards. I've also treated our Durango's roof rack rails, mirrors door handles, rear bumper panel, running boards and the bottle isn't even empty yet. The best thing about this product is the black looks better than factory new, this product places a hard shell on the black when it dries. Finally a product that will last and the black plastic looks exceptionally well.

Easy to apply. Makes parts look like brand new.

It did make the fenders look better after I used it, but it was not as dramatic a difference as I thought it would be.

My wife's Jeep needed an overhaul. All of the black plastic had turned dull from all of the sunny riding that we do in it every summer. I bought a bottle of this to try to see if it worked, and it went above my expectations! It restored everything to the rich, dark black that it used to be! The bottle is small, so if you have a large area to cover (as we did), you may want to purchase two bottles. If, for whatever reason, this product begins to fade, I'll update my review. So far so good!

This product is very small in it bottle. It came with gloves which I didn’t need. Next time I’ll buy it at Walmart instead where it comes in a bigger bottle for the same price. The durability on this product is amazing. It’s very easy to use if you get the funders pretty much clean. It is restored the color to the good or better than when I bought it. Of course I want that appearance overall I feel like I wasn’t bait and switched I give it five stars. The appearance and performance are exactly what I was looking for. I’m sure it’s not made in America, but who knows.

My flares are 12 years old, faded pretty bad. So to be fair, this stuff might work if you bought a gallon of it, spent a whole Saturday applying it to your flares. This bottle only did one coat on two of the four flares. One coat doesn't do much on really faded flares. I wouldn't recommend this item unless you're doing a small job that isn't faded too bad.

I have tried many products that claim to do the same thing. Manufacturers that are big names that I’m sure we all trusted and paid good money for because we only want the best for are vehicles. My expectations were at a very low level considering the products that I have used in the past lasted a few weeks at best. Yes the others had a full bottle but I have other things to do on my weekends then applying trim restorers to my Jeep Wrangler. This product went on very easy and looks good like the rest of them. The only difference is that two months later my Wrangler trim still looks like the day i bought it. I purchased two more bottles of this product for the future. I am very happy and highly recommend this product.

I have used on my Mahindra Thar, 2022. All the external black plastic fittings got some shabby white layer. Possibly because of the foam wash shampoo I use. Not sure. After using this product everything looks very natural and fresh. Not very sure about the longevity yet. Did only one wash so far, and this coating didn’t get affected.

Waited 2 weeks for this product and was disappointed. It is such a small bottle and you need quite a bit to restore faded bumpers and exterior areas. After using it, it’s not as advertised. It’s not a true black. Even putting extra on certain areas, it still looks faded. Definitely not going to buy again.

Bought this product to enhance the plastic trim on my 2011 ford edge. I have used other products excluding Armorall, which go ten times as far as your solution. I used all of your enhancer and didn’t have enough to complete the job !
