Review: Motivating Guidance - I've been following Sahara Rose's Instagram (found in "random" divine timing) for several months. I felt a magnetic pull despite some envy at the surface - I had my own shadows and insecurity to werk through; I'm glad I continued to feed my soul with her social media presence. I finally decided to purchase her book when I got an email about desertcart's buy one get one half off deal. I read a chapter or two every day. It flowed very well. I know the basics about Ayurveda (thanks to my intensive yoga studies) so it was easy to digest but even if you are unfamiliar, it will be easy to understand. She's very good at explaining words and topics. There is a lot of personal promotion throughout the book but hey, if it's related, why not? At first, I thought it was annoying but honestly, that was just my envy speaking. She knows how to persuade and market herself (nothing wrong with that) so I give her props because that is something I struggle with doing. I've had a desire to write a book for a while and although I was already writing before purchasing this book, I have dedicated sacred time for it more than ever before. This book has been a blessing and I will cherish it for getting me motivated to live my dharma - doing what feels in alignment and of service. I'm learning to truly honor what feels easy for me to do - I just have to keep remembering that it is meant for me to nurture and live out loud. This book won't give you an exact answer for what job you should take or whom you're meant to be in this lifetime (other than we are all meant to be of service). Rather, it gives you guidance and tools for you to dig a little, let things uncover, and be patient while taking compassionate action. A huge takeaway is that our jobs and roles may shift and change but the essence of them all is the same if we are living in alignment with our dharma. I wish Sahara continued success and hope this review will help you take a chance and actively read this book to help you (re)discover your dharma. Review: Beautifully written. Easy read. Encouraging!! - I really loved this book. I read it in days and Iโm ADHD, so that is not typical, but this was so easy and fun to read. I loved learning about doshas in a non-boring way. I really loved the way she summarizes at the end of each chapter for those of us with focus and memory issues. She also had exercises throughout, which are very helpful. It definitely gave me clarity about my purpose in life, especially that we donโt have to have just one, we can be multipassionate. I think this is one of those books where you learn something new every time you read, so I will definitely plan to read again. By the way, this book is more spiritually inclined in a non-religious way and this is not a Science-y book so if youโre looking for references for every paragraph, this is not it. I donโt care for credentials, I value wisdom and at her young age (younger than me), this girl has a lot of it. I enjoy books where I feel a soul resonance and I experienced a lot of it reading this book. Hope this helps!

RECOMMENDING THIS TO ANYONE OPEN to it! <3
Wowzers, I am nearing the end of Discover Your Dharma and there is so much juicy life stuff in here - real life stuff you are not taught in traditional schooling or things that were not taught abundantly if that makes any sense. I am a 31 yr. old female and believe this is a great book for any individual wondering about what else is out there and your particular path. It is full of quizzes, journal prompts, and helpful pros/ cons to certain life situations. I say I wish I knew about this stuff X amount of time ago, but the book just came out and our minds are only able to receive what they are ready to. I feel with my particular path having a sudden death of a parent and a shitty ending to a years long relationship all were stars in the show of my path to self discovery and now what I am framing as my spiritual awakening. Everything is falling in line and there are so many resources such as this book out there to help me and others going through this Earth school which can be so painful at times. THIS stuff makes sense to me - I resonate with it and am SO thankful for people such as Sahara Rose raising this vibration! Ahhh. And to be backed by Deepak Chopra?! I also purchased Saharaโs Eat Feel Fresh and Chopraโs Perfect Health book. Also did you know Sahara has a podcast, Highest Self?! I just finished episode 046 Financial Self- Care of Sahara's Highest Self Podcast and hope she talks more about this/ writes a book on it. I have a couple years worth of yummy topics to catch up on now! I am on the last chapter and a half and I am kind of bursting with excitement not to sound cheesy, but this book is really helping me propel forward. I wish I had taken advantage of the deals with the buy multiple copies for friends to make my own book club with it! Oh well, now I know for the next Sahara Rose book! Two years ago I wouldโve said dharma what? But now.. itโs dharma, discovery, energy, chakras, knowing we donโt have all the answers but there is so much TO learn about our individual make up and from ancient teachings, alignment, bliss, meditative mind, kundalini, my happiness is intertwined with otherโs happiness, Ayurveda.. to name a few!

Empowering โข Relatable โข Honest ... I feel ready to take on the world!
Sahara Rose has captured the right words in the most relatable way about understanding the path to your dharma (purpose). With her down to earth and vulnerable shares plus that channeled wisdom, this has truly been an enjoyable read. So much so that I just got the audio book to enjoy all over again! Everyone always questions the โwhyโ and โwhatโ but not too often the โhowโ. This book answers it all but not in a โThis is your purpose for living and thatโs that.โ It offers a beautiful reminder of the journey and guides you. The thought provoking questions in the chapters are helpful too! Personally, this book has confirmed that I can have more than one purpose. (This was something I was struggling with and questioning.) Knowing the difference between hobbies and dharma flow and overall trusting the journey, I feel empowered and more confident moving forward with my business, projects, ideas, and fully expressing myself without reservation. This book has offered me freedom and understanding of my authentic self. Thatโs worth more than the cost of the book so for that I am grateful. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey and discovering yourself and your purpose, this book is the perfect guide! Iโm excited to read this again as I continue to evolve because it is relevant in all stages of life. ๐ฅฐ

This book is needed.
This book is needed. The archetypes gave me a language to understand myself that I didnโt know that I needed until I was in tears reading my exact life description, my struggles and successes both validated right there on the pages. Throughout the book, I was personally seen, acknowledged, and guided on understanding both my unique life path and the traits of those closest to me. But the archetypes and doshas are universal. They arenโt limited to me or any one place or type of person. This is why this book is so needed. Although I have no doubt it would have been meaningful having been released in any year, the January 2021 release could not be more timely. In a place in history when so many of us feel uncertain, Discover Your Dharma is the grounding so desperately needed. I would recommend this book to anyone who feels lost, or is going through a career or life change, wishes to better understand other people, or simply just wants to know themselves more intimately. Sahara explains each concept thoroughly with examples and analogies that makes integrating the information easy and fun. The combination of candor, wit, and humor makes you feel more like a friend is sitting next to you explaining a concept, rather than reading a book. I really appreciated the quizzes and journal prompts to help you explore and implement how the material fits into your own life and ultimately, discover your dharma.

Thereโs good stuff in here, but got a little repetitive
I bought this book due to its glowing reviews. If youโve dabbled in any kind of new-agey self help/spirituality reading, this definitely falls into that camp. The ideas are not earth shatteringly new to me. But there is still some real wisdom to be gleaned from this book. Overall I enjoyed it and believe it could be really helpful and inspiring to many. I know it gave me a kick in the pants to get back on track with my creative projects. One thing I really did not like was the focus on career and making money from your dharma path. Iโm sorry, but itโs not always about being able to turn your passion into income and that part just didnโt jive with me. I feel like modern hustle culture puts a lot of pressure on folks to turn their passion into a side hustle and then into a career. And for many of us, we just arenโt interested. I have many creative outlets that I do because I love it, I love to create and share and touch people with my artโฆ.but I just donโt have interest in figuring out a way to monetize it. Iโd rather just do my thing, and keep getting joy from it for joys sake. If you got into this because of interest in some light Buddhist principles, wellโฆ.this book ainโt really it. But itโs still an easy fun read with some lovely insight and motivational (albeit sometimes repetitive) ideas

The Truth About Discovering Your Dharma
I discovered Sahara Rose by way of Sky Life on Youtube it took about 10 minutes into the video to immediately track this book down on Amazon and get 1-day shipping because I couldn't wait another minute to start this journey! I was feeling so down, lost, and hurt by everything in life. I didn't know what to do or even where to begin. Then life dropped this book and its amazing author into my lap. I don't know how else to say this but this book sings to your soul. If you have doubts. Think you are on the wrong path. Feel lost. Know there is something more to life. Feel like you are missing something. Wanting to awaken the part of you that has been asleep for so long. Finally, understand what you should be in life..... THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU! I am so excited to be discovering my Dharma and starting down a path that has MEANING and feels right. This is the answer for your soul searching and be warned you will be addicted to Sahara Rose's guidance because it will open something inside of you that has been asleep far too long!

I'm Devouring Every Word of This Book
Ever since become a mother almost 5 years ago, I've been struggling to navigate my new identity. There is a huge disparity between who I was before I was a mother, and who I became the moment my first child - my daughter - came into this world and made me "mom." I've always been into goal setting and I thought I knew what my purpose was. But the truth is, I have had no idea. My ideas around what my purpose "should" be are rooted in some archaic thinking, and this book is helping me to break down those old paradigms so I can shift into a new one and finally begin to relax into what I was meant to do here on this earth. I am devouring every word, foregoing precious sleep (which is saying something as I am a stay at home mom to two young kids and need all the sleep I can get) just to continue reading the book. Sahara's writing is straightforward and penetrates right through to the part of me that needs to hear her words most: my soul. I am half way through the book and I know that by the end of it, I will have the tools to step into who I am, and to finally be able to answer the question: who am I? And what am I here to do? Thank you, Sahara, for putting your work out so candidly and generously to the benefit of those like me! You are undoubtedly living your dharma, and in doing so, you're inspiring me to do the same. With gratitude and appreciation, Lauren Ashley Lobley Mom, Writer, Podcast Host, Cookbook Author, All the things :)

Great book!!
I do admit being a fan of everything Sahara Rose has written. She knows, in an accessible and honest way, because she is true to herself, to bring old or non-Western knowledge back to the attention. This book is far from vague or woolly. If you are new to this subject, Sahara knows how to put it into words in simple language and with practical assignments, tests and reflections, so that you can actually do something with it! Not only do you want to read about it, but you also want to discover your dharma/purpose, right? But also if you, like me, already know more about your dharma then this book offers many new insights through the Vedic approach. This will be a book that I will read over and over again. Through the podcast of Sahara and her website you will also get a lot of extra goodies and in-depth information about the dharma/purpose theme. Highly recommended! Buy the book for yourself or to give away as a gift. At this moment many people have lost their way because of the events surrounding the pandamic time . This book, the (re)discovering of what you really like, your dharma, your purpose, can really help you find your happiness. Because the more people can start living from their dharma/purpose, the more people will be happy, the more beautiful the world will become!

So much wisdom and magic in every page!
This is a true page turner, every page is filled with so many profound quotes that I found myself re-reading and highlighting several paragraphs. I love that through filling out questionaires and Dharmic personality tests it immediately prompts you to reflect on your own life, exploring who you are, breaking limiting beliefs and helping you shape your purpose for this one precious journey. I feel it is a book I would come back to whenever I feel slightly off path. Truly glad I found this book and recommend it to everyone who wants to get to know themselves deeply.
