This is only in regards to US dollar, the machine def works. It can tell the difference between fake and real, theres no question about that. It all about how efficient it is, and how many times you have to retry due to false positive fakes. Besides the usually, keeping the bill flat/unbend any corners. It seems you have to insert the bill to the far left. As it also take other country currency (diff size bills). That's fine and all, IF it came with different size adjuster on the side to help guide the bills. It did come with a magnetic plastic piece that is removable but thats it, just one size and its not for US dollar. So thats a bummer. Either make it adjustable on the machine itself or give us the different size pieces. Anyways, the trick is to place the bill slanted 5 degree towards the left when entering the bill into the machine. Enjoy

Our two Emerald City Smoothie stores decided to purchase counterfeit bill readers, just after 6 months one just stop working it looked like it wasn't on, 2 months later the other store did the same. I called Kalibri, not sure who it was but I was informed I was out of luck, after thinking about it for a few weeks I decided to email because the call just irritated me. The good thing was I got Cody Hicks, and he was great very professional asked me what the problem was and I emailed him the issues which he wasn't happy to hear that someone there would say that to me on the phone. He requested the s/n's and replaced both units which I received today, he handled all this w/a few emails, thank you Cody for being good at your job. Kalibri, you have a good employee making you look great! I gave only 3 stars for value for $$ I want to see if these last longer? Thank you Kalibri as well.

Purchased this product for my store solely for counterfeit bill detection. Unfortunately the machines is too touchy, it does not recognize any bills that are slightly folded or crooked. It hardly ever works on the first attempt so you need to keep feeding the same bill into machine several times. It has given erroneous suspicious size error. Complete waste of money, I wish I had used it sooner after purchasing to return but my store was closed due to covid-19 and I am now stuck with it.
