Was worried about brand and price but it worked great. Was a great cost effective option for test equipment.

Star Tech products always work great. This fiber card does what it is supposed to.

I have Comcast Gigabit Pro, fiber into the house connected to a Juniper ACX2100-AC provided by Comcast. Have 1 SFP + port and 1 ethernet port. Both have static IP's as part of Pro service.Bought my first PEX10000SFP Nov 5, 2015 because it was on the list of acceptable cards to connect to the Juniper. It was set up and working when my service was activated and I have one W10 workstation with this NIC connected to the SFP + adapter in one of the Juniper ports.Worked just OK for two years but during that time every few days all W10 icons on the desktop would flash and I lost internet on the SFP + port. Disable and re-enable the PEX10000SFP adapter fixed the problem. Finally got so fed up I contacted Tehuti.The result was I bought another PEX10000SFP March 29, 2018 and hoped this new card would fix my problem. No go. Would not link to Juniper.Figured card was bad so I got another one March 30, 2018. Same problem no link to Juniper.So I switched to a different NIC, 10Gtek Intel E10G41BTDAG1P5 82599ES Chipset 10Gb Ethernet Converged Network Adapter (NIC), Single SFP+ Port, PCI Express 2.0 X8, Same as X520-DA1/X520-SR1 and a new transceiver, 10Gtek for Intel E10GSFPSR, 10Gb/s SFP+ Transceiver, 10GBASE-SR, MMF, 850nm, 300m.Problem solved. Rock solid connection to the Juniper and no more flashing icons.. So I wrote to Tehuti about this. Here's my summary."Problem Solved. 10Gtek X520-DA1 card replaced PEX10000SFP.First PEX10000SFP I bought in Nov. 2015. Would not link with Juniper until I put in static IP. When Static IP put in card linked. Occasional internet disconnects over Nov 2015 to March 2018 period. Acceptable but should have linked without IP in adapter settings. Finally got frustrated with this happening and went in search for solution with Tehuti (i.e. Nir)Second PEX10000SFP I bought March 29, 2018. Would not link to Juniper with or without static IP in adapter.Third PEX10000SFP I bought March 30, 2018. Would not link to Juniper with or without static IP in adapter.10Gtek X520-DA1 I bought April 1, 2018. Linked to Juniper with no static IP in adapter. With static IP in Juniper works perfectMy experience with the PEX10000SFP has not been very good.From my viewpoint its the PEX10000SFP that caused the problem.I understand you think it's my machine but my experience contradicts that opinion. Nevertheless I do thank you for trying to help me."Bottom line. If you are using this NIC, PEX10000SFP, to link to a Juniper you may find it will not link. Try the older 10Gtek Converged Network Adapter(CNA) with 10Gb SFP + transceiver. If you are a Comcast Gigabit Pro customer by all means go with 10GTeck as it is also a card Comcast Recommends.

First of all I bought this Network card for our application where we streaming 10 Gb/s UDP packets to server (directly connected), After spending month on this module we where not able to achieve required performance 1-2% packet loss (Core i( CPU, Windows Server 2012 R2), also when you open configuration menu minimum help, description, also some text is bigger then viewable area and you can not resize viewable area. Then we decided to buy Intel X520-DA1 Network card, and whoa-la out of box 10 Gb/s is achieved and I am not talking about documentation in configuration menu that is detailed and well written. And the worst part that this card is twice more expansive than lintel one.

DO NOT BUY. This cards does not support linux by default. You have to compile the driver yourself. and IF you running Kernel version 3 or higher. It will crash your system. The company has no plans to update the driver and states that the card is compatible with kernel version 2.6-3.5 but if you install on anything other then 2.6 it will crash your system. IT IS A NO GO

Item was not compatible with my OM3 connection. Purchased a different one by intel and it worked with no issues.It was too late for me to return.

Purchased 2 of these which both died literally a week apart. Lasted 3 years. These were in a data center with proper cooling and power.
