Easy setup n go
I’m a technophobic petite human. But I needed to get the humidity in the bedroom area down during the summer and got desperate enough to buy one last year. It had a pump so I thought it would leave me with no work. But having zero experience with such things, I wound up with a very loud rattling sound through the night and parked the monstrosity in the basement, where it keeps things cool and dry. This year I checked out reviews on YouTube for quiet humidifiers and came across one where the guy did a pile of research on quiet dehumidifiers and wound up with this one. It was called something else at the time but a little sleuthing unearthed this puppy. He was right. This is so much more quiet and unobtrusive than last year’s unit. I love it. It was a little heavy for me to lift out of the box but beyond that, installation was simple. I put it in my room, took off the tape, plugged it in, and that was it. It started humming. It sucked water out of the air. Periodically I dump the water out. But I don’t care. The noise factor was far more important to me than anything else. There is no point in having one of these things in your bedrooms if it’s making a racket. In fact, I love it so much that I got a second one a week later. They’re designed for small spaces. I don’t mind the additional cost. I finally just installed the second one near the bathroom in the same bedroom area and now the whole floor (200-250 sqft) is nice and dry. It’s middle of the summer. It’s usually wet as rain. But not anymore. It’s nice and dry. And QUIET. Works great. My only complaint is that it beeps a million times when you take out the bucket. I haven’t let it get to “full” for that reason because a full bucket would trip off all those chirps. Last thing I need is for it to wake everyone up in the middle of the night. I wish there were a way to choose the number of beeps or type of chirp. Maybe have a Bluetooth component with an app where it can alert you that the unit has stopped and water needs clearing. But I’m not docking off stars for that because it’s really just great for the price, performance, value, quiet, and description.

Good product, worth recommending~
I have a basement and I always feel wet when I go down, especially in rainy days and winter, so I always want to buy a dehumidifier to try. After browsing several shops, I decided to buy this product and try it out. After all, the reviews I saw were not bad. To be honest, I was really surprised and pleased with the product. The dehumidification effect was really good, and it had a timing function. I usually turned it on and let it work for about an hour or two. By the way, this product has its own water pipe to drain, so I found a drink can to catch the water. LOL. It is very convenient, remember to look at the water level in time to pour off the water. The only thing I don't like about it is that when it's plugged in, the home screen is always on, like in the fourth picture. It doesn't go dark, so If I take this dehumidifier to my room at night. When I sleep, I find its brightness a little distracting, so I usually turn it off at night, if I'm using it in my room. What's more, it's a little noisy when you use it at night. After all, the environment is quiet at night, which may be one of the reasons. In a word, I am very satisfied with this product, both in terms of function and price, so I think it is still worthy of recommendation.

Almost 3 year later review. Solid product! 10 out of 10 would purchase again!
This is not an AI generated review. I purchased this in Sept of 2023. I literally just took it out of my daughter's car after she forgot to shut the windows during some rain. Left it in there with the door mostly shut and today it is like the Sahara in her car! This machine has never had any issues with not working as long as the user was not being an idiot. I am totally a no instruction reading goof. So it took me a minute to figure it out. I have never used the hose attachment as I have moved this gem around my houses a lot. So don't ask me about the hose option. However, there is a humidity percentage option. I crank that baby down to 40% for max suction of my air. It is currently 9000% humidity in Minnesota... There is also a fan high or low option. Mine is always cranked to excess. Additionally, there is a 24 hour max timer. So here is the trick. You can either set it to the humidity you want and it will stop when you hit it. Or you can set the 24 hour timer for continuous dehumidifier magic. The container to catch the water is not very big but it is super easy to empty. No big thing there. This machine is also super quiet. It is not super heavy and has a top carrying handle. It will give out a few large beep sound when it is full. You empty it and it will automatically start again assuming it senses more humidity that what it is set to. Or if there is still time on the timer. Would I purchase again knowing what I know now? Certainly! I am so tired of crap AI reviews and love actual human feedback. So as I was removing this little joy from my daughter's car, I figured I should submit a super seasoned review almost 3 years later. If you are looking for a reliable dehumidifier that is easily portable and does not have too many bells and whistles to go wrong, I highly reccomentld this fine piece of equipment.

Very quiet.
I've been using the Luko in my basement for about a month and it is doing a great job taking excess moisture out of the air. The control panel is very accessible, easy to see and use. And the unit is extremely quiet. Previous dehumidifiers that I've had would make a racket when they kicked on but the Luko barely makes a whisper. The water collection reservoir is rather small so if you have to rely on that, you may be having to empty it quite often. I use the provided bypass tube to send the water into a bucket ( I have the Luko up off the floor so it is higher than the bucket). That makes for much more time between empties. I don't have a floor drain available which would have made the situation perfect.

Great dehumidifier but some problems
In purchased to keep the moisture down inside our RV. I wanted a solid unit and not one of the cheaper, non-compressor units. It does a great job dehumidifying. I am very happy with its power. Mind you, i am using this for 250sqf area (much smaller than its rating) but the area is not well insulated. Two problems: (1) minor: the lights are too bright. At night we have to cover the display. (2) substantial: i almost returned it for this reason but found a solution. I need to use a drain hose for constant dehumidifying. If the hose is not perfectly sloped down and the water accumulates at any part of the hose, the drain wont work! It will divert the water in the bucket and shuts off if the bucket is full. This is because of air pressure which builds between the spout and the place where water accumulates. I solved this by making a tiny hole on the top the hose, right before it connects to the spout of the dehumidifier. Now water drips away because the air pressure is relieved. Of course, if your hose is perfectly sloped down, then you will have no problems. In my case the hose had to go down, then slightly up and then down. Now i am happy with the unit, it keeps my RV dry.

It's good, with some issues after 3 years
Bought this dehumidifier 3 years ago and I decided to update my review. The compressor still works well, but the water collection is not working consistently, and I have not been able to problem-solve. Water drips onto the floor instead of going into the holding tank. This started occurring after 3 years of ownership. The other problem is that the motor has a lot of vibration. If I was determined to address this issue I would probably set the unit on a carpet square or on some foam to try to absorb the sound and rattling. It's engineered to kick on and off regularly and it can make a great deal of noise when the compressor is vibrating. Does dehumidification work? Yes. During the humid season where we normally had 80% or 90% humidity indoors, it easily brought the humidity under control to my set point of 50%. All the controls make sense once you get used to them. I like the large digital readout. It is an attractive unit compared to others. Also, the wheels make it easy to move or store, and it has a nice heavy duty cord.

So good, I bought three.
I bought one for my workroom (where I hang dry laundry) and one for the basement, and I liked them so well that I bought a third one for the other half of the basement. It is stupidly easy to set up and use and even easier to empty out the tank. The first day I used it in my workroom, I was shocked at how dry the laundry was: before, the laundry wouldn't dry even after days on the drying rack because of how humid it is where I live on the seacoast. And it's shockingly quiet, about the level of noise of a fridge – I can't hear it at all if I leave the room. Important things to know: * You can't immediately use it. It needs at least 24 hrs to settle, apparently? I assume it has something to do with the refrigerant. * It comes with wheels but no instructions on how to put them on. There are padded stickers over some holes at the bottom of the thing, and I presume that's where the wheels go (since that's where I put them), but it's not a quick, snap-into-place sort of thing, it's a "am I even putting this in right, well it's working so I guess I am" sort of thing. They do work, and you can wheel it around fine afterwards, it's just frustrating the first time. I put the wheels on the ones in the basement but kept the padded stickers for the one upstairs on my hardwood floors. * The tank is very small (maybe about 2 liters?) if you don't have a way of continuously draining. We don't have a drain in our basement, which is why we need a dehumidifier, so we need to empty it out a lot. The good news is that the effects are cumulative: over time, the amount of water in the air goes down, so it takes longer and longer for the tank to fill up. When we started, the one in my workroom (which has a very small area) needed to be drained about every twelve hours or so; now it can go for over a day without needing to be emptied. * The dehumidifier will also automatically stop when the water is about half an inch from the top of the tank. I appreciate this because I did worry that it would stop when it was full to the brim and then I wouldn't be able to drain it without dripping water on the floor. I can take a full tank upstairs from the basement to dump it in the tub without spilling anything. * After it automatically stops, it beeps at you fifteen times, loudly. I recommend waiting maybe five minutes after it beeps to actually drain the thing – sometimes there's a little bit of water left in the hopper that hasn't drained completely and will drip out on the floor if you take the tank out immediately. * The humidity level will go back up if you go too long without draining the tank and turning it back on again. However, the effects are cumulative: it takes a longer time for the humidity to bounce back the more you use it. * It works better in smaller spaces but it does work in a large, damp basement. It does fill up faster in a very damp space, obviously, but the effects on the air are noticeable pretty much immediately after the first tank fill-up. We bought a second one for the basement partly because the basement tank was filling up very fast and we figured two tanks would take twice as long to fill up. Overall, I'm very happy with them, especially for the price.

Great value, I’m satisfied
Living in south Florida in an older home, this has been invaluable for me and my dogs. One of them had chronic bronchitis and the other had skin allergies/fungus. Vet treatments aside, this helped tons!! I didn’t realize how small the bucket would be, so I modified it by using the tubing to have it continuous flow and running the tube into a 3 gal water jug. I did some research and found that it basically produces distilled water so it’s non-potable. I just dump it out because it produces more than I’d ever need in an iron or steam mop. I just happen to have it set up next to my filtered water jug and since that shows in the pic I wanted to clarify. Works great!
