What width is the foil

I don't know the exctact width sorry but it's a lot wider then I've ever used. I love this foil, it's sturdy and doesn't slip but it's a bit to pricey for all the time for me

Box says to use silver side only! Both sides are identical so which side is it

I use the lighter silver side for hair to develop in. To be honest though I don’t think it really matters
