Two of my granddaughters want to learn to sew but l don’t think they are ready, yet. So l decided to try this sewing kit. It is very basic but good for young children to start with. They love sewing the animals together and stuffing them. The animal characters are cute. The sewing “needles” are kid friendly, they are a good size, plastic, with a blunt tip; perfect for kids.

We recently brought this kit on an extended-family trip with 4 families. I had all the kids pick out an animal and I either helped them put it together or I offered to make the stuffy for them (especially the really little ones.) They were a HUGE hit. It kept the kids busy for a couple afternoons and everyone had fun. I had ages 4-10 assembling them with me, and I sewed the ones for the younger ones. The little stuffies that my two kids made were what they chose to bring on the first day of school this fall to share about the best parts of their summer break. So sweet!! As for quality, I will say the parts that you stick on with the peel-back adhesive parts stick pretty well. I was surprised. They're not super duper snuggly, but they look adorable and it didn't bother any of the kids at all. The edges are a bit scruffy. The assembly was extremely easy, and the booklet had great instructions with pictures.

I bought this sewing kit for my niece, and she was excited the moment she opened it. She couldn’t wait to get started. Everything in the kit is easy to understand and feels very beginner-friendly, which was perfect since this was her first time sewing. The projects kept her interested without being overwhelming, and she was really proud of what she made. It was fun to watch her focus, create, and actually finish something on her own. I also like that it’s a creative activity that doesn’t involve a screen. Overall, this was a great gift and a really positive experience. I’d definitely recommend it for kids who enjoy crafts or want to try sewing for the first time.

Great skill for kids. A little hard for my daughter but was easy to help her do it. She felt so accomplished after finishing them.

What a cute little kit. Contains everything you need to make 8 little stuffies. And it comes with 3 needles so more than one person can work at a time. I had to hold myself back from making my own. It is helpful to have an adult present. My granddaughter did great with the sewing. But creating the knots in the beginning would have been a challenge for her. And the occasional tangled thread as you're pulling through. But, as far as she was concerned, she made it all by herself and she was so proud of herself. This would be a great gift!

My 8 year old granddaughter received this gift for Christmas. She had a very good time creating these adorable forest animals. Of the three animals we’ve created so far, she likes the bunny the best!
