Love it so far!
I bought this on Black Friday. I have X260 and wanted a tablet for note taking. There are tons of reviews out there, so I won't go into technical details, but my impression so far is very positive. The processor was my major concern but with 8GB memory, the thing is pretty snappy (please note I only use this for note taking, word processing, and some light web browsing). Minor cons: It is fan-less so the back does get warm. not to the point it is concerning but I haven't used that much TBH. Finger print censor just didn't work for me. At the setup, It read as far as 3 times but then got stuck there, never been able to finish the setup, so I just gave up. It's not a major deal breaker for me and I don't know if it's a known issue for this model or just on my unit but wanted to point out. The kick stand is kind of awkward. I knew about this, but still weird. I bought it mainly for the pen use but pleasantly surprised with the full ThinkPad keyboard (pretty much identical to my X260) and the track point. Writing on the screen felt pretty natural to me, I found the responsiveness depends on the app, I am still exploring that aspect. The screen is gorgeous. If this PC suits your particular use, it's a great buy!

Touchscreen failed after 2 days.
After 2 days, the touchscreen started showing ghost touches every 10 seconds. Checking support only had a solution for the LG-specific touchscreen, but this X1 Tablet has a Lenovo touchscreen. -- For the 2 days I had it: The item exceeds expectations. Even if the CPU is slightly less powerful than the latest Lenovo offers (according to Intel's website), it still is really great. As a tablet+PC it works really well: I tested a couple of games, and the responsiveness is pretty good. The fact that it has a standard USB-C port for charging means that there are more opportunities to find power between work and home compared to other tablet/PCs that require a custom power-supply connector. But keep in mind that the USB-PD compatible charger needs to support 20V/2.25A.

What you should know before buying this product.
I would NOT recommend getting this laptop. It worked well up until after the first three weeks. I've now had it for four months and every week, there's something new that's wrong with it. The audio from a video, after a few minutes, spontaneuously turns off. I have to take a whole 5 minutes to get it working again. Sometimes a webpage or whatever program I'm using on the computer goes down to my tab line at the bottom of the screen but when I click on one, sometimes it doesn't even move! Nothing happens. So I have to take a whole 5 minutes or restart the laptop for it to work again. Or how about how a tab from a webpage randomly opens into a whole new window? THEN, and the most recent...wait for it...now when I put a video on full screen, most of the time it just reverts to an all white screen and when I press "Esc", nothing happens. This laptop is relatively new, it shouldn't be acting like this. I regret paying a whole $700!! dollars for such a product. Word of advice, never buy a Lenovo touchscreen.

Beautiful hardware; great price; spoiled by Windows.
Beautiful hardware crippled by Windows. I really wish this hardware ran MacOS! Love the keyboard, the touch screen and the pen. There are some quirks but on balance I am enjoying using this PC. The magnet that holds the screen and keyboard together is quite powerful. There is a strip of plastic that locks on to the screen, that has come loose. This impedes the docking/undocking sometimes, as the electrical connector does not make good contact. I have also had issues with the mouse cursor disappearing on wake-up. There are thousands of people with this issue, which seems more connected with Windows than with this hardware. Closing the PC, by folding the keyboard towards the screen, puts the computer to sleep. Opening it does not wake it up again. Am I the only person who expects this behavior? Sleep seems more like a hibernation, as waking up takes some time... With Windows 10, I now only need 4 clicks to turn on bluetooth. With Windows 8 it needed 6! Compare this with 2 on the Mac. That said, connecting to a local Linux NAS by wifi is now much faster and more reliable.

Great tablet but keyboard doesn't connect well
This is great value for money as it is way much cheaper on Amazon than from retailers in my country. Frustrating though that the keyboard doesn't connect well and I always have to remove it and reattach (doesn't work all the time). Stylus works great though.
