Southwest Canyon Canine Recipe with Beef in Gravy Canned Dog Food, 13.2-oz, Case of 12

Have rated before, but here's an update. This "wet" dog food is amazing. My Brittany, who used to turn up her nose at even the dry Southwest Canyon Boar food (until I put water in it and made a gravy), now licks my legs in anticipation at mealtime. She normally doesn't vocalize, but when I'm prepping food, she tips and growls, sometimes even barks a little next she loves it so much. Also, since I've lessened the amount of dry food and added 1/4 can to their bowls, they have both lost weight and added muscle, unbelievable for mostly sedentary dogs. For this alone it's well worth the extra $ per month. One hitch, I was out of the food and had 2 days until delivery, so I bought a case at the local pet grooming salon. Roughly the same price, but unlike every case I've purchased through Amazon, at least half the cans were half-meat, mostly gravy. The establishment refused to credit ny account or refund my money, even though only 2 cans had been opened. The one I opened in front of them was relatively normal, but not great. Even though we are regular customers for grooming and bathing, they refused. The price is about the same, but obviously I won't be using them Shan, for ANYTHING. So far Amazon has been all good and I'll definitely continue with this service. Nothing but the best for my girls!"if I'm a day or two off they can have "people food" for a day. Hats off TotW!! I'm pretty sure if I called TotW and explained the situation, they'd take care of it...

I mix this with Prey Taste if the Wild kibble for my four dogs. I found a store locally that has it on sale for $2.88 a can so I wont be purchasing again unless i dont have any other choices! I also recommend the Prey kibble if you can find it! No biproducts or preservatives. Good for your fur babies!

Great product. Great quality. My dog loves every ounce. But when ordering this particular “flavor”, no where on the containers does it state Wild Boar. This is just regular beef stew formula.

My package was not damaged. One of the three cases of canned dog food was damaged before it was put in the box. More than half the cans from that case were dented.

I usually just feed my boxer taste of the wild dry food, but since we were putting him up in a kennel for a week due to vacation, I thought I'd treat him with this during his stay. I fed him a can before we left just to see if he liked it, and he loved it. Oddly enough, while it is packed with meat, he seemed to enjoy the gravy far more - go figure. At the price of just around a $1 a can, you can't go wrong with this product. I highly recommend the dry food version too if you haven't tried it yet. My boxer has eaten their Bison, Salmon, and Lamb formulas and seems to like this one the best, but be warned, he seems more gassy on it than any of the others though!

Wonderful seller first off.... Second of all this product is one of the best for dogs. It is grain free which is another bonus if your dog possibly has a grain allergy. My dog loves this! She goes crazy when I pull one of the cans out. I would definitely recommend this to any dog owners :)

Dogs love the taste....I like the lack of grain. My only "beef" pardon the pun with this product is it is kind of a loose gravy like consistency. One of my dogs is a vaccuum cleaner and the other is a "nibbler". The "nibbler" leaves his food and revisits during the day. Since they are outside his bowl seems to always be covered in ants because he is not licking the bowl clean. I also buy the Blue Buffalo canned and it has a firmer consistency which eliminates that problem. All in all happy with TOTW and that is what dry food I feed as well.

Taste of the Wild is always the best choice for my dog and he loves it so much!
