Are these labels re-stickable after removing?

Several months ago, I placed mine on painted cabinet drawer and door fronts in the garage so I could remember where I stored what. I just easily removed one of those labels and moved it to another position. It is sticking in the new place. It left no sticky residue on the old place. I love them. They do what I wanted. Be sure the item is clean and dry. My purpose was to be able to remove labels with no icky sticky residue left behind as happens with the other types of labels.

Are these pretty opaque so you can't see underneath them when stick into something?

They are pretty solid white paper type, and you can't see through. I have used these labels on CD's & album covers for years for labeling records, etc. They ARE NOT a see-thru type. Hope that helps.

Can you write on these with a regular pen

Yes, the surface of these labels is just like any regular "file folder type" label.

I'm looking for a removable label for use on books and records. A label that won't peel will stop a sale in it's tracks! Will these work 4 me? Thanks!

I put them on a glass jar, a plastic jar, a book cover, a page in a book, and a CD cover and they all came off with no problem. They also did not fall off, which was important to me as a bottle with no label will also stop a sale in its tracks.
