Low calorie and great taste

I LOVE IQ bars. I love them so much!! I am gluten, dairy and soy free for allergy reasons. These bars are some of the only ones that fill me up for several hours and make me feel good. I have food sensitivities, and many, many foods wreak havoc on my digestive system, but these are tasty, filling, and kind to my tummy. They have a wonderful flavor and texture and aren't crumbly and messy or sticky, so they also travel well. They also seem to help with focus. The fruit flavors are my favorite. If you like fruitier bars, maybe try the fruit sampler. My whole family likes them too! My husband likes them for convenience, and he likes all the flavors but especially banana nut. He's the sort of person who needs something to fill him up but stays busy enough that sometimes he doesn't have time for a lunch break. My son is diet and fitness conscious, and they are his favorite too, though he prefers the chocolate flavors. He wants something low-carb, higher protein, and filling, and whey bothers his stomach. Both of them are foodies, and they love these bars! I don't usually leave a lot of reviews, and I know personal preferences are different, but I wanted to share this for anyone who is still looking for their perfect bar. This is mine, and if you haven't tried them, maybe consider it. I have found that they work well for my entire family, work within our different dietary needs, and everyone enjoys them. For anyone looking for a lower price point, consider this: if these bars fill you up more, that might make it worth it to pay a little more for the right bar and save on snacking. My snacking has gone down since I started using these. We are trying intermittent fasting in my household and these are filling enough that they help with that. We each eat one nearly every day, all at different times and for different reasons, and they work well for all of us!!

This review pertains to the Lemon-Bluberry version of the IQ bar. I've been trying to find a vegan protein bar that will not melt if carried in a golf bag. Looking at the IQ bar I believe it would meet that criteria.....but there's no way to get past the taste, which is horrendous. It starts as a foul-tasting glob (the smell is pleasant enough but I find nothing that tastes like lemon OR blueberry in the bar) and the more of the bar I consumed the more it tasted like soap. I'm now stuck with 11 bars that no one will eat and still haven't found that elusive melt-proof vegan protein bar. Oh well, on with the search! UPDATE: To the manufacturer's credit (and in the interest of full disclosure), after the one-star review above they refunded me the full purchase price without me requesting it. They also sent be singles of seven bars and asked for my review. The following is my honest appraisal of those bars using a 1 - 10 scale. Banana Nut - 5. Decent taste, okay texture, okay aftertaste/ Chocolate Sea Salt - 4 Taste is very flat though it got better the longer you chewed/ Almond Butter Chip - 4 Needs a bit more sweetness/ Wild Blueberry - 5.5 Best of the bars. Decent taste and aftertaste/ Peanut Butter Chip - 3 Flat. Imagine ground semi-dry roasted peanuts and unsweetened chocolate. Almost bitter/ Matcha Chai - 5 Decent taste. Surprised me/ Lemon Blueberry - 2 The sample was better than the box I bought but it's still not good. Still has a soapy taste (that I attribute to the lemon since I liked the Wild Blueberry./ My suggestion would be to increase the sweetness in the bars since the ones I scored the lowest tended to have the least amount of sugar. JMAO.

Interesting Experience: Initially, I wasn't sure what to make of the taste. I liked they weren't dry or greasy. Healthy ingredients. I was, however, caught off guard by the pea protein crisp because it felt like I crunching on gravel or sand texture. After a few bars, I got used to it. I didn't taste blueberry. The lemon tasted like zest and juice. It was ok. I finished the whole box. What is most interesting is I ate them in the morning and at night. For a week, I felt my brain very turned on while I was sleeping. Very vivid dreams. Not "trippin'" but very noticeable dream patterns. Taste wise, not bad but probably not a repeat buyer, even if I enjoyed my dreams.

This brand is my husband's favorite protein as he works to eliminate as much sugar from his diet as possible. They make a great snack and have a high amount of protein. Note they are soft and chewy rather than crunchy like many other protein bars.

I think they’re a little chewy, but it was just lacking flavor.

Lemon blueberry is delicious! I can't say that about very many protein bars/products.

I was looking for a healthier bar I could have while pregnant (I share this account with my husband) and came across these. I had high hopes because some reviews said the taste had improved from the original recipe, however I find the taste tolerable at best. There’s a strange bitterness to them and an odd aftertaste I can’t place. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I felt like people should know that while the taste may have “improved”, it’s still not great.

I appreciate that these are NOT too sweet. Just right! Like having them in the morning instead of early breakfast. I tried macha and lemon - both are very nice. The lemon one is nice and refreshing. I love it.

Fake. Grown in a lab. All food can be grown with frequencies. Free energy has never left !!!
