I am very happy with my z490 strix-e with 10900k @5ghz+, but i really want tb4 and pcie4. might i like the move to this 11th gen setup with 980pro?

The board is good. But 11th gen intel isn’t a great improvement. If you want pcie 4.0 badly enough, just swap out the motherboard. It’s compatible with 10900k
