One must squirt, spray, squirt the rectal/anal and peritoneal area until clean. It takes some adjustment and after a few times, the new skill will be attained. THE BOTTOME LINE • Get one. No toilet paper is needed. Spray away, get clean, use the divider on the tip to abrade and scratch the anus as needed, spray and squirt some more water there, add a bit of shampoo to the bottle from time to time for a truly cleansing spray, rinse and repeat. I use this bulb every B M to clean myself since my obesity makes it hard to reach and clean with T P. I add to the warm water a feminine hygiene soap that gives a cleaner feeling and freshness. I still use T P to dry off but not nearly as much as no spray wash. It took several times of use before I became proficient with not getting my clothes wet before I positioned the bottle's rod in the right direction. My bottle does not leak.

The portable bidet gets the job done, but it's too big. It is not easy to handle, because of the extra Long nozzle that gets in the way during the job, plus it leaks because the long nozzle is rectractable/moveable. It leaks from the base of the nozzle. By the time you're done you're also drenched. A smaller version with NO retractable nozzle (to prevent the leaks) would be better. However it is easy to store because of the retractable nozzle. I am going to buy something else smaller.

This thing leaks, making it completely impractical. It has a little air hole at the bottom that you're supposed to put your finger over over while you're flipping it over so the water doesn't leak out of the nozzle, but it's still comes out of the nozzle. I can't imagine why in the world there needs to be an air hole at all since it appears other models of this don't have it. I have to hold it upside down over the sink for a few seconds while some of the water shoots out until it gains some kind of equilibrium and then it stops. But you have to hold it exactly right or it starts leaking out the nozzle again. My toilet is right next to the sink so this is easy but water still gets everywhere. I don't know how you'd use this if you weren't in reaching distance of your sink. The bottle also leaks out from the bottom air hole if you leave any water in it when you're done and sit it on the counter. I've tried tightening the top of the nozzle and that doesn't seem to help either issue. Water gets everywhere. I'll be asking for a refund and looking for something else. Update: I just wanted to further express what a garbage product this is. If you don't hold the bottle at the exact right angle when you are flipping it over water spurts everywhere. Imagine what happens when you're removing it and havent used all the water. I can't complain enough about this.

A back injury left me worried about keeping myself clean while I healed. A Travel Bidet was recommended as an alternative to having a bidet installed to a toilet seat and because I could take it with me on trips to the doctor. Well, it works. It just plain works. You can fill it with water that is at the temperature you like and it is easy to clean. Even if you don't have a mobility problem like I do right now you should probably have one stored away in case of emergencies. Who knows, if something like COVID hits again and the stores run out of TP (again!) you might be glad you have it.

I would highly recommend this product. It's wonderful if you don't want to install a bidet. I use it on my elderly mother and don't have to use a bunch of wet wipes anymore. Leaves her squeaky clean. And it comes with a travel bag. I do have to have her move up a few inches on the toilet seat so I can properly fit the bottle extension in the correct position. I rarely write reviews but I really like this portable bottle bidet. Great for elderly.
