Will this work to remove a maual trans. on a HHR?

It’s designed to hold the engine while the cradle and transmission are removed. It doesn’t remove anything… it just holds the engine while you remove the trans…manual or automatic!

will this span from fender to fender on an 89 chevy silverado. only ask cause i dont have the measurements with me and not able to get them right now.

Will this work on a 08 hhr?

I doubt it very seriously I tried using it on a 2012 Audi Q5. Fully extended the end supports were about 4in short of sitting in the side bay channels where the hood would rest. I do believe that HHR engine bay is pretty much the same size. If the support beam were ten inches longer, it would be a useful item
