Will this work with a linksys router?

Yes it would work with a linksys router. A POE injector will work with any Non POE router or switch. I didn't like this POE device and ended up using the below. Is the 54v output ac or dc?

output is DC, this item supports 48v poe injector

Will this work for a device that requires 5V 3A?

You will also need to get a POE splitter. I setup my Wyze cameras on Poe. But the splitter reduces the voltage to 5v, 2.4amps

Inline power when you need it.

I had an ip phone that was brought from the office to my house and I needed in line power. This worked perfectly

Great little injectors

Works perfectly. I am using these daily for Cisco 8945 and 9971 phones, Ubiquiti AP's and PoE Cameras. Previously I was using inline injectors but those were getting quite hot! This unit never seems to get hot and works well.

Did Not Work With My Camera

Unfortunately this unit did not work for me. Possibly incorrect specs for my camera. Ended up buying a POE switch with dedicated POE ports.
