Sit Proflame Receiver Kit GTMF Series Includes SIT 0.584.223

Had to replace an old controller for fireplace. Was exactly what it says, fit great but the issues is the place for it under the fireplace is very small and took me awhile to get it in the right spot but thats not because of this controller.

The product sent had a better design that the one in the photo. The battery compartment now has a drawer and its locking mechanism is way more solid.Note that there are a bunch of products that look pretty similar yet have different code numbers.This one only replaces the 0.584.523 module.

Judy what I needed to fix my fireplace

Basically it was a simple plug and play installation. Super simple.

Perfect for our gas logs. Easy to install and works perfectly with our existing remote.

Replacing original 0.584.223 receiver corrected pairing and connection failure with Proflame2 GTMFS remote transmitter. Restored remote operation of splitflow burner, flame level, fan and accent lighting control. Easy to DIY.Note- compatible with 584.023 handheld & 584.043 wall mount remotes that I have.

Works great. Installation and pairing with my existing remote was a snap. Note: These units are battery-powered (4 AA cells), so you should check on them periodically (at least once a year); otherwise, you run the risk that the cells will leak and corrode (don't they all?), damaging the battery compartment.
