Easy to use and it does a great job
This crimper does a very good job. It doesn't require much hand strength to operate [but if you do have weaker hands, this crimper will quickly build strength in them, depending on how often you use the crimper]. Of course lighter gauge ductwork is easier to crimp than heavier gauge. The only duct work I do is hot water heater exhaust vents. If you are a gardener, this is an essential tool for making retorts out of tin cans, which are used for making charcoal [which can be used in organic garden water filtration systems and for making terra prieta garden dirt -- online videos are out there to explain how to do these things]. I am pleased with this tool. It is well made and deserves 5-Stars in my opinion.

A great tool for Gutter Work!
I had to make some repairs to the rain gutter system for the pending "rainy season." I ordered these and used them for downspouts and extensions. They worked well on the material and made the repairs move much more efficiently. Easy to use. Appear to be well made. I wish I'd bought these about 30 years ago...

Tool
Product works well. Weight of the tool makes it seem like a good build. Only thing I don't care for is the small latch used as locking mechanism, it's always open inside my tool bag. Doesn't actually lock

high quality
This was more than I wanted to pay, but after reading reviews of others and that they "cut" the metal, I went with these and I'm glad I did. The surface has a bit of texture and it's possible to crimp tin cans so they fit into each other. I'm making little ovens for making charcoal. After doing a few, I was able to do it quickly and uniformly so there was no deformation to the circle and the cans were crimped uniformly. They're really easy to use, and I'm sure they'd be equally great on eaves pipes, although I'm not sure about the heavier steel ones....

Very well made and works well
I used this tool to make bio-char containers. I crimped both #10 cans and small cans, No issues what so ever. It never cut the metal and worked on both types of cans, a internal rim and one without the internal limb. Easy to use. It never cut the metal. I would highly recommend this tool.

Less time expended for better results.
The hand crimper was delivered in satisfactory & fully operation condition. I am on the edge in anticipation of my first stove pipe fabrication project with the new JOUNJIP 5-Blade Sheet Metal Crimper. My projection is for maximum production of biochar that this hand tool will help provide this winter season for early spring gardening application. Thank You Mad Organizer!

Needed a tool to crimp black steel wood stove pipe, which is a bit tougher then the duct work pipe. I have cut offs from over the years that I saved but couldn't really use since there was no crimp on one end. This tool crimps the stove pipe surprisingly easy. Its a bit slow but seeing the price of pipe these days I can now save money using sections of pipe that was once unusable.
