Over all this is a great Bread knife and I am happy with my purchase!I love it for my homemade loavesOddly enough the 8" length was the right choice to fit on my under the cabinet on my wall mount magnetic knife boardA 10" bread knife is always the best choice (they do sell a 10") But with linted space the 8' fit the billThe Price is great!It looks nice and works fine - I'm sure it will last a long timeThank you PAUDIN!I also bought a 3 knife set for an incredible price

Works great on our homemade bread.
This is my second Paudin knife (the first was a chefโs knife.). These knives are well made and a terrific bargain. My son has been baking sourdough bread, and we needed a proper bread knife to do justice to his amazing creations. These knives feel substantial, are very sharp, and do the job well.
