Easy to install and works reliably
I've been using a powered USB hub to extend my USB connection form my laptop to my printer and scanner. The connection was unreliable and eventually failed so I was searching for a reliable solution. After much research I settled on this product. It was easy to physically install as I had a spare power socket at the printer and scanner location to power the remote device. There are no drivers needed. To the laptop it just looks as if it's a USB connection. So it works reliably and is easy to install.

Funktioniert für isochrone USB-Transfers (USB-Audio, UAC1)
Habe den USB-Extender gekauft um in mehreren Räumen im Haus Raumakustikmessungen mit einem MiniDSP Umik-1 USB-Referenz-Mikrofon zu machen. Ich benutze den Extender dazu mit einem 40m CAT6A UTP Kabel. Bisher hat es problemlos geklappt. Ein billigeres Produkt von einer anderen Webseite hatte dabei versagt. Knackpunkt für diese Anwendung ist, dass USB-Mikrofone (wenigstens meins jedenfalls) sogenannte isochrone USB-Transfers ("USB Audio Class 1") benutzen, welche nicht von allen Extendern unterstützt werden.

Mon commentaire concerne l'extender USB (seulement 4 ports USB, pas d'HDMI ou autre) Après avoir essayé plusieurs autres Transceiver USB sur RJ45, c'est le seul qui m'a permis de faire fonctionner correctement une webcam avancée (image + plus enceintes + micro, vue donc comme caméra ET carte son) Pas de soucis même en plaçant la partie Tx/sender dans un boitier de sol, celle-ci chauffant peu voire pas du tout. De même j'ai testé avec succès l'utilisation d'un dock display link USB en bout de chaîne : Full HD via HDMI parfaite en parallèle de l'utilisation de la caméra ! :-D Un vrai bon produit !
