Logitech Wireless Mouse M505 (Red)

This is an awesome product! The Logitech m505 mouse is excellent on battery life and cheap! According to the statistics listed in the product description, this particular model can get up to about 15 months of battery life out of just two AA batteries. It is very comfortable and the curvature makes me think it can easily be adjusted to fit either hand. It has a multi-directional scroll wheel/button in the center. (By multi-directional I mean it scrolls up and down and can be pushed in or left and right for multiple functions.)Also, you can now use just one tiny little USB receiver for all of your logitech devices (this receiver can be very convenitently stored inside of the battery compartment where they made an indent for you to push it in.) It is very sturdy and comes in a variety of colors. In many other brands of wireless optical mice, they stay on all the time and go into a kind of hibernation after a few minutes of inactivity. With the Logitech m505, you have the option of turning it off using a switch conveniently located on the bottom of the mouse (allowing most people to use the same batteries for even more than that of the estimate provided by the manufacturer.) The mouse comes packaged with the manuals, one of their tiny little USB receivers, and two AA batteries. One final detail to finish my rant about the Logitech m505 is that it is in fact an optical mouse but it does not have the red light that many others do, so there is no chance of damaging your eyes, which makes it great for kids. All things considered, I'd recommend this for just about anybody looking for a wireless mouse because it gives you a great bang for your buck!

I have three of the Logitech Wireless Mouse M505s now. One for my work laptop, which I frequently travel with and one each for my Chromebook (CR-48) and my wife's. The mice work great in both applications and never have problems even when all three laptops are near each other. For users of Chromebooks, some do not like the new trackpad features (my wife for example) so the mouse is a must. I am fine with the Chromebook pad, but I like the speed that a mouse gives you when copying and pasting large sections of text or just scrolling through large documents. The M505 is also one of the smallest form factor mice that still manages to still feel very comfortable and substantial in my hand - and I have large male hands. My wife has small female hands and it fits her hands perfectly, so the balance of device is ideal. The small form factor makes it perfect for throwing in my computer bag and using on my leg while on an airplane. The crappy mini-mice are just junk, IMO. Red is the best color. I have two red ones and one silver. I would have all red, but I needed to keep track of which one was which with the two Chromebooks that usually sit side-by-side. Battery life seems unbelievable. I'm still on the factory batteries with my first mouse at over one year of use. I would be happy with six months, they say two years, I'm past year one with heavy use so I'm quite satisfied at this point. Bottom line, this is no-fuss, no-problem mouse without any need for drivers. Feel confident in buying one, or three.

I have yet to find a Logitech item I don't like! I use a Logitech keyboard with my laptop and wanted to purchase a mouse that would use the same (read: Unifying) receiver. This mouse fits the bill!! The secondary reason for purchasing this mouse was the allow my children to use the laptop without using the trackpad. The kids are 3 and 5 and this mouse is a perfect compromise. I think it's very comfortable and they use it without problem. The scrolling is smooth and the mouse seems to work on most surfaces, although I'm "old school" and still like the feel of a mousepad. Overall, this is a great mouse, whether you need the unifying receiver or not. It's sturdy, portable and the batteries last a LONG time on it, much longer than the batteries in my Apply Mighty Mouse...grrrrr.

This mouse is perfect for the user who needs one they can throw in their backpack and take anywhere. It's light, small(ish) and durable, runs forever on a single AA battery, and has great connectivity to any computer it's plugged into (even if the USB port is in the back). I use it both for my personal laptop when traveling, my work MacBook Pro, and my home desktop PC. The dongle is extremely small and unobtrusive, and the connection is strong. I highly recommend for any user, possibly with the exception of gamers. Even for them, it's a highly responsive mouse.

A distanza di un paio di mesi devo dire che mi trovo bene. Lo uso in ufficio tutti i giorni: ha un'impugnatura pratica, rotella e tasti comodi e lavoro su tutte le superfici. Con il ricevitore Logitech Unifying occupo una sola porta USB e ho anche tastiera wireless... l'ideale per cercare di ridurre il disordine sulla scrivania.

I really like this mouse. It's comfortable to use, accurate and with a good battery life. This is the fourth one I've purchased. They haven't broken - I've just used them for different machines, including work machines because the company I work for doesn't provide good mice for desktops or any mouse for laptops. This mouse was purchased to replace one that I lost the receiver for after unplugging it during a customer meeting :(

Eine sehr kleine Maus, bestens fürs Notebook geeignet! Ich nutze eine 2. ebenfalls für meinen Desktoprechner, weil sie einfach Spaß macht und toll funktioniert!

Il mouse è molto valido. E' comodo da trasportare grazie alle sue dimensioni contenute, in particolare quelle del ricevitore, che si può riporre all'interno del mouse.
