She always goes to these books and we both enjoy them. I like reading to her and she just will independently grab one and leaf through it and look at the pictures. Wonderful quality time together…

Real life pictures. Small sized perfect for toddler hands. The cardboard carry case is cute but my son ripped it pretty quickly learning how to open and close it. I easily taped it together with packaging tape and it hasnt ripped again. He loves us reading these to him over and over. He will be two soon but in a couple months he can see the picture and say the words himself and relates them to real life. For example: egg and points at the kitchen, ants he says ew lol cuz who likes ants in their house. He has lots of words and expressions for many different things through these books. He has learned alot from these little books and I appreciate the real life pictures over cartoons to associate with real world experiences. He also has learned to put his books back into the case and is learning to have the spine facing out but that will take time. I bought these when he was 1.5 yo, now he is almost 2 and i feel he will continue to like these books for many more month and there is still much to learn in these book, like the numbers. These would make a great first birthday gift.
