Marvel Captain America: Civil War Blaster Reveal Shield

I bought this Avenger shield for my son’s birthday. He loves everything and anything that has to do with super heroes or Avengers. He loves playing with this helmet and has been playing with it every day since he got it. The shield is really cool looking and is pretty fun to play with…yes I play with it as well. I would suggest that you go ahead and buy additional darts for the shield because it only comes with two darts. He loves the dart shooting feature and even tries to take it to bed with him. I am happy with this purchase and would be happy to buy from this company again. Shipping was fast and the item was described pretty accurate.

My 6 yr old son and his friends like a variety of toy weapons that they can play with. This is one of the nerf toys that does't look like a gun but still shoots bullets. I agree with the other reviewer that the handle to engage the nerf bullets is hard to pull back. The tabs to close the shield is also a little stiff to slide close but the star button that reopens the shield is awesome. It snaps open immediately when pressed. It fires two bullets, one at a time and they are launched by pressing a button on the handle of the shield. This makes holding, aiming and shooting very easy. We have a few nerf guns and crossbows and the impact power of the bullets vary. I was surprise that this toy packed a powerful punch so be careful of where you aim it. My son only wishes that it could store more bullets. There are only two holders at the sides of the handle and the manufactures could easily have lined up 3 or 4 more on each side. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. If like my son who's looking to add a different type of shooting toy to your collection or just want to get a non-gun looking shooting toy, this will be a great option to go with.

This has been a fantastic toy that has held up to some heavy playing time. - Shield movements have not faltered and nothing has broken. - Darts shoot well and no issues. - Kids love it and the action of the shield makes all the difference. - Great for some fast action nerf fights as you can block shots with the shield and then fire from it. Well done and my only wish is that the shield could be bigger, but I don't think the spring load could handle it.

The trigger to shoot the darts didn't work from the beginning. I figured out that if you slap the handle that you pull back to ready the missiles to fire it will fire, but the trigger doesn't work.

The trigger doesn't seem to work like it is supposed to work. We read a prior review to get a work around (using it more like a bow) and that helps. This was a Christmas present so was disappointed when it didn't work. Sounds like there are some that work great for others that have purchased it so we must have gotten a lemon.

Cute toy but broke within the first few min of play. Amazon was quick to respond with a replacement.

our son, 4 yrs old, absolutely loves this! we got it to accompany his capt america halloween costume and he hasnt put it down yet!

Looks like fun for a child Definitely small child size.

This is a bit smaller than what I expected, however, my grandson loves it takes it everywhere.
