Love this tea

First and foremost this taste horrible. The company is good but the plant taste horrible. I will probably just get a pill when needed. But the tea taste was to harsh to get through a cup of tea…. Even mixed with other teas and a lot of honey… Honey helps if you use alot.

Excellent tea. I used it for a liver detox.

It is best to approach this tea without preconceptions, for curiously, we taste what we expect to taste. When I thought it bitter, that’s what I tasted, but one day, perhaps forgetting which tea I was about to drink, I sipped it and found it pleasantly bittersweet. I suggest using one teabag to a full pint of water - that reduces any aggressive taste and allows one to explore the pleasanter flavors it has. An alkalinizing tea, good for the skin. Well packaged with far less powder escaping is bag than other brands. Worthwhile, don’t fear the taste.

Terrible flavor but it does what it needs to! No matter what I mix it with the flavor is so bad lol, but I do it as a shot to get it done and over with lol

Update! Why the price increase by 3 dollars? Not buying anymore. This is stealing. Lawd is this bitter. This bitter hits the back of your tongue/throat. However, I feel like I’m getting all the benefits of this tea, which trumps the taste.

Yes. Somewhat bitter. But honey, and lemon make it taste acceptable. Unfortunately messes with my medication I have to take for immunity issues.

I see many in the comments rating this tea bad based on taste. It's NOT supposed to taste sweet. Read up on the origins of yellow dock root/tea. I add 2-3 drops of vanilla extract per cup to calm the harsh taste down. I buy this for helping with iron anemia. This coupled with unstrap black molassas keeps it stable. I can't vouch for other purposes but for mine it works!!!
