These C&S Sweet Corn Squirrellogs are a hit with backyard squirrels! They last much longer than traditional loose corn, keeping the squirrels occupied while reducing mess. Their texture and density make them easy to attach to feeders, and the little critters love them. Since adding these to the yard, I've noticed fewer squirrels raiding my bird feeders, which is a huge plus. The quality is consistent, and each log holds well even in damp conditions. These are a great choice if you're looking for an effective way to keep squirrels happy and entertained.

I originally tried dried ears of corn from my local big box store. The squirrels gobbled those things up in no time (like an hour or so) and left a mess. I was a little hesitant to buy this item due to the reviews that said that their squirrels ignored the things and also because I had to buy a pack of 10 with no option to buy a smaller quantity to try them out. Turns out, after the squirrels figured out that there was no more dried corn to be had, they started eating this stuff. It took a few days. No mess, and the pack of 10 that I got will last a very long time! One suggestion that I would offer, and this has more to do with my particular feeder, the squirrels will pull this off of the feeder if it has just a straight 'stick' to hold the food on. Same goes with the dried corn. I simp!y replaced the 'stick' with a screw. Twist the food down onto the screw and problem solved.

Not sure how somebody thought this was going to be a good product. They are literally hard as a rock--birds will peck at them sometimes to try to get anything off of them (but they give up quickly and fly away) and the squirrels completely ignore them (totally not interested at all). The first one I put out sat untouched for weeks (before I decided to break it up to see if any critters would learn that they like it then come back for the next one) so I put it on the ground and tried to crush it to bits, but ended up hitting it repeatedly with a hammer (which ultimately literally shattered it). The critters did take the bits away but have made no effort to did into the 2nd one I put out there, and its been sitting untouched for 2 weeks now. Not sure what I am supposed to do with 10 more of these things, but I guess that's what I get for assuming that the product would be anything remotely like what it was supposed to be.

The squirrels love them! These are way cheaper than at some other stores I won’t mention!

We have bought these logs before and had no trouble. Our latest box had defective logs, 5 have already split in half within an hour of being installed in the squirrel feeder. I contacted the company and they provided amazing customer service. They asked if I wanted a refund or a replacement. I opted for the refund only because we are late in the season and the bears are waking up. I will purchase more logs in the fall.
