S&W and M&P Tactical Range Bags with Weather Resistant Material for Shooting, Range, Storage and Transport

I have tried many range bags over the years. At this price point you can't beat this bag. Storage is excellent with plenty of room for firearms, ammo, tools, eye and ear protection, etc. The bag is well made and decently sturdy and I would absolutely recommend it.

Just like their defender padded single handgun cases, this range bag is very very nicely made. Like, I'm not worthy, nice. Heavily padded everywhere. Great zippers. Strong velcro. It may be a bit pricey, but damn, you're getting something for it.

I've only had the bag for a few months and only once to the range, but the quality looks better than most bags of any type (gym, storage, gun bags, etc). The zippers pull smoother than normal ones, the fabric has a thick quality to it, and like the number of slots that allow you to hold magazines and access them with ease. Its not rocket science to create a bag like this but you can tell they had people with common sense making it. Comes with a nice strap too that has quality metal clips that connect the strap to the sides of the bag. Worth the extra few bucks I spent on it.

Worth the money. Lots of pockets and cubbies. Holds 2 pistols, ammo, eyes, ears, some tools, first aid bag and a sandwich WITH ROOM TO SPARE!

So, the two different versions are different in size. The "Recruit" version is smaller. I think the other would be way too large. The bag is big enough for me to put all the ammo I will be using for a typical range outing and a few handguns, but isn't so large that it looks like I'm moving into the gun range. So I think the size is about perfect. It has a sturdy shoulder strap with very sturdy clips. Not plastic and not the small flimsy tin metal ones either. Really large sturdy steel clips. The bag has side pockets on the outside and two side compartments on the inside compartment along with a large compartment on the back and two medium size compartments on the front. Here is where I think some things can be improved. firstly, PATCHES! Come on S&W, get with the times! You have to have the velcro panel in the front and maybe even the sides so we can plaster morale patches all over it! This is probably the biggest let down! There are other range bags that have places for patches, but then they are either way too small or don't have useful compartments. Secondly, you guys should have at least one moveable divider for the main compartment. So if you want to bring along maybe a spray can of Rem Oil or a bottle of militec with you to the range, you can section it off so it doesn't tip over while you're carrying it. It would easily be a 5-star bag with those changes. As it is now, I would say a solid 4/5 for how well it's built and for the perfect range bag size.

I'm going to be honest and tell you all that I bought this partially because I'm a sucker to my favorite brands and partially because I've had good experience buying things that companies that I trust are willing to put their name on. Having said that I believe that's exactly what you're getting, a quality bag made by a company that smith and wesson contracted out to make bags. Is that a bad thing? No, not in my opinion. Browning puts their name on the campchef stove and it's for a good reason. Don't believe me, look that up when you're done here. Anyway, everything from material to zipper quality, this is a great bag. The ONLY hesitation I had buying this is because I'm in a somewhat unique situation that's truly my own personal problem and that's the fact I love in California. If you're in my boat and wondering if the zippers meet to put a lock through, unfortunately the answer is no, it doesn't. There are cheap (relativity) soft side cases that you see in each sides of my bag that I'm 99% certain will satisfy the law as its written by the state of California. (C)Allen key lock cases are what I use when taking my bag from my trunk to inside the range (unbelievable I know). Technically everything has to be "fully enclosed in a locked container". I've been called a lot of things in my life, but an attorney is not one of them. I would definitely suggest looking up your local transport laws. If you live anywhere other than California or new York, enjoy enjoy your civil liberties and just buy this damn bag already Cheaper on here than the S&W website

This is a nice bag first of all. Solid. Quality materials. Has a lot of room. I have 3 handguns in there plus ammo plus magazines plus ear muffs plus other items needed. Have compared this to other range bags and this one definitely measures-up in every way. Can’t go wrong with this range bag!

Great Bag! I use this for my daily work, excellent bag and quality. You can’t do anything wrong with Smith & Wesson.

A première vu le sac parait très solide et de bonne facture (il est deja plutot lourd vide) . Beaucoup de rangement et suffisamment grand pour 2/3 armes de poing ! Le seul Bémol est le vendeur ou rien est spécifié mais cela vient d’Angleterre et donc frais de douane a rajouter au prix initial !!!!! pour moi 25€ de plus ! donc préféré l'acheté chez votre armurier du coin vous l'aurez très certainement au même tarif....

Très bon sac et assez de rangement pour chose pour aller au centre de tir 👍
