These were good. This was my first time making boba at home. It turned out good. I kinda winged it with the cooking, but they turned out perfect. I followed the advice of one of the other reviewers of having a cup of cold water to drop one in and test the texture. I added brown sugar to them but I don't think i used enough. They didn't have much flavor, but I didn't mind because they don't when I get it from a café either. All good. I would buy them again.

I love these pearls. I don’t want more sugar in my life, so these are perfect bc the taste matches whatever I’ve got in the glass. I stopped buying boba teas at $7 a pop and am now making my own. I put the pearls into a little pan covering with water, bring the water to a boil, and wait till the pearls rise to the surface, then I stir, let them boil a couple min or so. I turn off the heat, and finish preparing the rest of the drink. I rinse in cold water and they’re done. In all maybe it’s 10 min but I use the time to get my ice, flavoring, tea, etc ready and it all comes together quickly.

This is the best boba pearl product I’ve had to date. While Amazon was incorrect about the ingrediants, most of these ingredients are found in everyday consumption anyway. The texture is perfect and most of the people complaining that it takes too long are definitely being dramatic. I make my own chai latte and then place it in the fridge. By the time the boba is done, I can make a simple brown sugar syrup. Then mix the boba back in the syrup. Easy clean up for evrything when I use the same pot for both the boba and the syrup. In just over ten minutes, I have the perfect boba and my drink has cooled. Cook time is quick. It’s not stale, the size is PERFECT for my boba straws. I’ll definitely buy this again sown the line. The best part? I usually do 1/3 of the full cup and somehow get 2 servings from it. That’s super valuable for me I just do not suggest leaving it in the fridge overnight. It WILL harden again. So assume 1/4 - 1/3 cup for a person ;)

I was introduced to Boba tea when visiting out of State a little over a year ago and fell in love with the flavor and texture. One issue I have with the commercial drinks is sugar content. It’s way too sweet for me. Plus if you add the cost, it winds up being something I can’t often have. But then I found these that I can make at home and that’s a game changer. It’s very easy to make, I can add flavors to it (like making fresh fruit syrups) or, my favorite is cook it and have as is with iced tea and milk. So good!!

These are absolutely terrible and I don't know how anyone could enjoy them. I found the instructions to a T. The consistency/texture is good, but he taste is absolutely terrible. Sort of flavorless but then has a horrible and weird aftertaste. I am very upset I wasted money on this. Buy a different product.

Pretty good

Bought this to satisfy my boba addiction and It was so worth it. Follow the directions or it won’t be as chewy (how I like it). Also tapioca does not do well in the fridge, sadly. So I’m making a fresh batch every time I want some which is fine with me. Will buy again when I run out.
