Don't normally write these, but felt obligated. So I've had my S21 Plus for while now, since 2021. Bought it straight up, didnt want the added monthly payment. Been very good to me over the years. But this isn't a s21 plus review... I went up and visited my dad recently at the house I grew up in. He got a new mower. Damn near 6 ft. bed, mows his acre in about 20 minutes. Now, this is a far cry from the 2 hours+ I spent the majority of my childhood mowing. He was clearly stoked, and wanted me to try it on the backyard. Sure, why not. The mower felt like a damn fighter jet. Zero turn, controls were sensitive as all hell. I had my phone in my pocket. After getting used to the controls for a couple minutes, ended up mowing the entire backyard in less than 10. Insanity. Got off, grabbed my beer, and proceeded to go in and watch some baseball. About 15 minutes later, realized I didn't have my phone on me. Checked inside, maybe I left it on the counter somewhere. Checked out on the lawn, I didn't remember seeing it, but maybe it slipped out and I drove past it. No dice. Had the old man call it for me. Heard a BRRRR BRRRR coming from the mower. Christ. So I lift the seat up, and see my phone, and case, in the myriad of mechanisms not engine related. Pulled out the case, absolutely destroyed, and focused on my phone, currently face down on the bottom of the metal cage. I know it's not dead, as my bluetooth watch was vibrating when he called it. But I completely resigned to the fact that it was cracked to no end, given the condition of the case. Fished it out face down. Moment of truth, turned it around and the thing was completely fine. Old case was destroyed, but I have never ordered another so fast. Put it on today. AI check it, hopefully I don't sound like a GPT clone. True story, otterbox has earned my business indefinitely.

Sturdy and an exact fit for my Galaxy phone.

Overall I am happy with this case. I would have given it 5 stars if it was more slip resistant. Could definitely be improved by adding additional silicone rubber inserts, instead of just the two small strips on each side.

@ 1st installation it does what I expected it to do: protect the phone w/o denying access to controls or lenses, etc. However, I have not dropped the phone yet. So, I cannot assess the cover further.

Does in fact fit the S21+ as described. I love Otterbox and it's ability to save my phone from my clumsy self. I've only dropped my phone a few times (so far), but there no damage to the phone. It's not the prettiest case, if you are going for something like that, but the protection is what I need. Update 7/20/2024: I just had to purchase a new case since I dropped my phone enough that I actually broke the outer plastic shell, but my phone is fine! I did try a different brand before I repurchased because I wanted a fun color, but it didn't feel nearly as secure in my hard or safe. So, still with a standard blue case, but my phone has survived. Otterbox for the win!

I had one like this that eventually fell apart after years of use. Regardless of that fact, I purchased an identical one to replace it because the first had served me well and withstood a great deal of accidental abuse and preserved my phone. I would recommend this OtterBox case.
