great product
great product. I with the slices were a bit bigger instead of the small shavings but the flavor is spot on and no sugar. Great product.

Best Biltong I’ve found
This is seriously the best biltong money can buy. I absolutely love this as a good protein snack, and the perfect amount of heat from this flavor just brings me so much joy. I keep this flavor around the house.

Odd aftertaste
I love this flavor. It’s spicy and the meat texture is so amazing. Not your typical jerky. It’s 3/5 not 5/5 because the last batch of packages I got had an odd aftertaste. Eating it was fine but then it would leave a weird feeling in your mouth as though you didn’t eat it and some remnants were on your tongue and teeth. Kinda like after eating a green banana when it’s not ripe. Didn’t have that the first time I ordered. Maybe a bad batch.

Worth it!
I was on the fence about biltong after the pricing and this is maybe even a bit premium than usual but it's so good. But after my first bite I've seen the light. I'll never go back to regular jerky. The flavor is ridiculous and I love how the heat creeps up. It's hard to stop eating this. Had 4 pieces and I'm back on here to order another flavor.

Unchewable Gristle—poor quality
I’ve bought this several times over several years and I’ve always been impressed with the quality. My most recent order was unacceptable quality. Nearly every piece was an unchewable piece of gristle. Hope this is a one-off issue and not an attempted to increase profits with lower quality meat product.

Tastes Authentic - would order again
This product was nicely packaged and more importantly tasted and "chewed" like biltong should. There are some awful tasting examples for sale on this site claiming to be biltong - but many fail to deliver. This product delivered all around. Nice texture. No fatty pieces. And good flavor. Would love it a little cheaper but can understand the price point relative to Stryve where there are larger volumes. I would recommend this product for those seeking an authentic biltong experience. Would re-order.
