I'm very dark (think Lupita) and not very experienced with makeup. Can anyone tell me what shade would be a match?

For darker complexion African American women, Carob is the way to go. Black Opal is such an underrated makeup brand. I have tried many high end shades and nothing compares to the Total Coverage foundation in Carob. I always purchase multiples or is my top request for stocking stuffer gift from kids. For point of reference, my skin tone is tad lighter than Lauren Hill's....

how do you know what color to use

Well I've used it before when I bought it from a beauty supply store, so I tested it on my skin there but they stopped carrying it. But makeup names are pretty similiar when it comes to color, so for example if your a color tan, or beige in one makeup I would just get the one closest to that name

Agréablement surprise par ce produit. Je viens tout juste de la recevoir et de le tester. Avant tout il faut savoir que j'ai la peau mixte à tendance grasse. J'avais fait l'acquisition de ce produit dans le but de m'en servir comme correcteur et anti-cernes, je l'imaginais plutôt gras. Et en fait surprise : le produit est hyper légers et très couvrant, bref très agréable! La seule choses c'est la teinte que j'ai pris trop foncé. Je le conseille et m'en vais le recommander dans une teinte plus claire de ce pas.
