Ease and no connection leakages
Was so much easier than trying to use all the single attachments to accomplish the same goalโฆ plus now thereโs no potential leaks with glue seams either

Just SOO good! โค๏ธ
This made expanding my 3 valve manifold a walk in the park. With the (not included) Orbit union, I was connected, wired and programmed in the B-hyve app, in probably 30 minutes! I used to take A LOT of time creating my own manifolds, but these Orbit manifolds make for immaculate installations with very little effort!

Worked fine once I got a new valve
When I first pressurized the unit, one of the two valves had a slow leak. On inspection, a hairline crack was visible. Orbit responded quickly with a new valve at no charge, and I installed it with no further issues. The unit is now working fine. No leaks at the union connections--I made sure they were fully hand-tight. I would say this unit is best suited for new work or extension of old work. I was doing a repair, and that made things a bit tricky getting the old and new parts connected.

Not All Feed Lines are 90ยฐ to Header
Aftermarket home repair requires some thought and preparation: Is the box big enough to hold all required valves? Is there sufficient clearance between the feeder lines and the solenoid? Do the feeder lines align with the solenoid output? Some additional digging and adaptation will most likely be required by the DYI installer. My irrigation system was done by a "professional" installer approximately sixteen years ago - and approximately one year before we bought this house. I have had to do feeder and source repairs on this system several times. As shown in the included pictures, not all retrofit headers designs are 90ยฐ - some are 180ยฐ. At the time of purchase (24 August 2015), 180ยฐ Orbit headers __DO NOT__ exist. I could have solved this dilemma with a new - and MUCH larger valve box. However, this concept was abandoned because 1. Additional costs (i.e. the new and bigger box), 2. Additional work (excavating a much larger hole), and 3. The zone 3/4 PVC pipes were too close together and approached the box from opposite directions. Number three alone would have made a valve box replacement impractical. So, I choose NOT to replace the valve box. This is a good design concept and _easy_ to assemble. I like the concept of being able to replace any faulty solenoid _without_ major surgery on __and__ the usual amputation of PVC feeder lines. Consistency of valve type is a big plus (I had a combination of Hunter, RainBird, and Orbit valves within my old system). The foibles are few. One is the size of the footprint (i.e. 5.75D x 12.5H x 9.25L inches): Since a 180ยฐ header is not available, accommodations for more than three zones in a single valve box exceeds 13 inches - The Orbit 53212 12-Inch Sprinkler System Rectangular Valve Box , commonly "packaged" by Amazon as an add-on item, is insufficient for more than three zones. There is no ding for this foible, since this is a planning phase issue. Unlike the Orbit 57253 3-Valve Heavy Duty Preassembled Manifold , the two valve unit _DOES_ include a five port โEasy Wireโ Organizer. RECOMMENDED with thoughtful planning and some basic irrigation skills

Great replacement
The installation was a bit tricky to get aligned but once that was done there were no leaks. Valves work as expected.

2 Valve Orbit Manifold is a Great Addition to My Setup
I ordered this via Amazon Prime and got it in 2 days as usual, I love my Prime membership. I bought this 2 Valve Heavy Duty pre-assembled Manifold as an addition to my existing Orbit manifold. These pre-assembled manifolds are very easy to work with, so far I have the 1 valve, 3 valve, and now this 2 valve manifold. All are working great. They install very easy and it is simple to replace or tighten the valves. This package came with everything needed to install to PVC, I added it to 3/4 inch PVC, but you could add it to 1 inch as well without having to purchase additional parts.

Simple and easy
One of the 4 solenoids failed in two months, They are deep underground in a buried cabinet, The one that failed was hidden to one side and very difficult to service. The orbit valve was VERY EASY TO REPLACE EVEN IN VERY SMALL WORK SPACES. 5 STAR FOR DESIGN.

Much quicker than building a manifold
When I compared the price of buying the individual valves and all of the pvc fittings to make a manifold, this seemed like a much better and simpler solution to make a manifold so. I like the fact that thereโs built-in unions so I can take it apart if I have to replace a valve. you can also increase the number of valves on the manifold adjoining multiple ones together.

One solenoid dead
One of the solenoids was defective. Plumbed in the whole manifold so was reluctant to send it back, will have to order a new solenoid as local plumbing supply does not carry that brand.
