There are 4 negative reviews on this product. The first 3 state that this product failed after a short period of time. It is not the charger that failed, it is a firmware issue on the new iPhones. If you will Google “Apple MagSafe charger problem” you will see plenty of articles. Update the system software on your iPhone and it will correct the problem. The 4th reviewer stated they were giving it a poor review because it does not come with a charger (transformer). If you will read the product description it states “what’s in the box”. It also states what is NOT IN THE BOX (and that would be a charger). Please....just read before you buy.

I bought an archive charger and it was junk. This one feels like quality and it works great but unfortunately you will not get the 15 W charging that the normal mag safe charger gives you. It has a USB-C to lightning port cable and you have to have at least a 30w Charger to get 14 W of charging on your phone while it’s charging your watch. If you use apples 20 white charger you’ll only get 11 W wireless charging. I do really like this product and it’s very handy for traveling but it’s a little deceptive.

I've been using this as my every day and travel charger for about six months and I really like it. Its clean, simple, one-stop way to charge my phone, watch and airpods, and it has a lightning cable so it also can charge an iPad or anything else with that cable. I love that I don't have to think about chargers when I travel--just throw this in my bag and I'm good. Phone charging speed on the magsafe is pretty slow compared to plugging in a cable, but that's to be expected and you can always just charge directly from the lightning cable if you need to charge quickly. The big downside here is the price. It's crazy high for a charger, and you don't even get a charging block, which I find ridiculous. But, if you are going to spend this much, at least the charger is good. For me it's been worthwhile I guess, though I do feel like a chump for buying this despite the absurd price. It's by no means a necessary upgrade.

I liked this device so much, I bought a second one for traveling. If your phone is equipped with MagSafe, or a MagSafe cover, it aligns perfectly with the charger every time, so there’s no doubt that it’s centered and charging. I love the Apple Watch side because it flips up to a vertical position, meaning you don’t have to turn the watchband inside out to connect it. Also, when the Apple Watch is charging, you can set it to go into nightstand mode, where it will display the time in soft orange numbers. (Unfortunately, Nightstand Mode does not stay on continuously, and you have to touch or bump the watch to make it come on, which is really annoying in the middle of the night. This is not an issue with the charger, but rather the Apple Watch software). When the device is folded, it’s extremely compact, which makes it great for travel. It has a magnetic closure which keeps it folded in my backpack. The phone charging speed seems to be fast. You might charge faster with a cord, but I have not made a comparison. Like all Apple products, the quality of this device is top-notch. The surface feels like soft skin. Apple, you’ve done it again!

If you charge this with a charging block in your house OR if you use a cigarette 12V charger, you need to be careful of a large surge/spark when you plug in your block or car charger in. The only safe thing to do is plug in the charging block or cigarette charger in FIRST and then connect the lightning cable to the MagSafe duo. I kept getting large sparks in my house and now one of my wall sockets is seemingly damaged. Even worse was on my boat, where my cigarette-style 12V charger was blown completely while I was plugging it in. Huge spark and the plastic casing on the charger melted, and was no longer functional. Whether or not you have a phone and/or a watch on your MagSafe Duo is irrelevant, it happens without anything waiting to be charged. So, it charges well and it's very convenient and fast. You just need to make sure it's NOT attached to the charging block before you plug it into the wall. Once it's plugged in, you can then attach the Duo. Safe charging!

This charger is beyond disappointing. It originally took FOREVER to charge and now it doesn't work at all. Waste of my good money.

El producto es el original, sí es caro, pero en mi caso me pareció bueno para el viaje, evito traer el cargador extra del reloj, funciona bien y carga mi iPhone 13 Pro max y mi Apple Watch S5 con relativa rapidez, no me preocupo por eso. el producto es original de Apple, con la calidad que esperas, aún así creo que que este en particular, pagas un poco mas de lo que vale, si hubiera incluido el cargador de pared de 20W, lo justificaría. ya tenía el cargador. En lo general, creo que sale mas barato el comprar el magsafe y el cable del watch por separado y quizá sea mejor,

Compact and just works. Kinda stupid that it uses Lightning instead of USB C though. But I guess it makes sense if the cable was meant for iPhone in the first place.

Great quality and portability. Not usb-c tho but charging speed for both the watch and phone are pretty quick. It’s expensive but we all know apple. So what the heck lol

El cargador más caro que jamás he tenido. Sin embargo es bastante versátil y muy útil para llevar, ya sea que siempre traigas contigo tu cargador, o que lo lleves a tus vacaciones, te será bastante cómodo no tener que preocuparte por llevar varios cables y cargadores, con este cargador es suficiente para todos tus dispositivos. Sobre la calidad pues se sienten sus acabados premium. Hace tiempo compre el cargador de satechi trío wireless, y tmb me costó alrededor de $3000 pesos, y es más práctico el MagSafe duo, además tomen en cuenta que se puede comprar a mejor precio aquí en Amazon que en la tienda oficial de Apple.
