Vela.Yue Angled Powder Foundation Makeup Brush

vela.yue brand offers hands down some of the best makeup brushes anywhere, regardless of price. Folks, this is the unicorn of makeup brushes -super-high quality even for professional level use, yet offered at drugstore prices. I've washed these brushes and used them for several months - they've proven to pick up and apply product absolutely beautifully. Build quality is very solid, no loose hairs even while washing. Measurements given are accurate, so pay attention to those if it matters to you. After I bought one brush, I went and bought almost all of their other synthetic hair brushes, and multiples of many of them - even if I didn't have an immediate use for some, they are THAT good. This is from someone who LOVES and appreciates high quality tools. FYI, often 3-5 vela.yue brushes would = the cost of ONE of my (crappy) MAC brushes. I was NOT compensated in any way for these reviews, I used my own hard-earned $ to buy these brushes. The rest of this review will be about the individual brush(es) I purchased so you have an idea of individual brush performance. FYI, I now only use mineral powder makeup products (and fairly lightly on most days - but professional level application), and only use synthetic hair makeup brushes so my reviews will be pertinent to these details. I use the Flawless Face Multipurpose brush to apply my finishing powders - as in all the vela.yue brushes the bristle tips are very very soft (not pokey). For this brush there's more 'give' to the whole head (not too dense). Instead of 'swiping' on finishing powder which would disturb the underlying foundation powder, I lightly load up this brush with finishing powder and 'dab' it on in my T-zone where I need more shine control. Voila! Perfect application, and foundation powder has not been displaced. Again, I cannot stress how much I LOVE these brushes!! Wish everything was made at this high level of quality and pricepoint!! * tip: some brush prices are better on eBay.

Truly amazing brush for to apply powder after foundation to make it even look. I purchased this brush with the other one and this brush style is perfect for bronzer and blush in an curved angled. The bristle are soft and durable. I am happy with my purchase. I love it it feel so great.
