There are many frustrations in life. One is when you walk out to the shelf in your garage and find that your WD-40 can will not let go of any fluid much like a stubborn 3 year old not wanting to give up the crushed cookies in their tightly clenched fist. I think that can had been on and off my shelves taking care of business for at least 15 years or more. It also had that that old red straw that you would have to place back into the spray nozzle if it got bumped out. That was just life as I knew it for many a WD-40 can's lives. When I went to order a new one while in my "pajamas" late at night, I found the new cans had this new fangled swivel thingy-ma-bob. I was unsure and unsecure in my manhood when considering changing from something I knew for so long to something that looked like it had been engineered post 1950. It scared me to embrace the change (not really haha). I ordered the new can and and since then I've found the smart spray to be OH SO MUCH NICER TO WORK WITH. No more tracking down the red straw thing when it falls off and fido runs off with it thinking it is a new game or toy ... or it bounces off my work boots and lands in that one spot you need to tear apart your garage just to get to in order to retrieve the darn thing. Curse you tiny red straw thingy! But no more. This smart spray is nice and a welcomed improvement, even if I'm a latecomer to such a cool improvement.
