I got these to replace the existing, broken plastic version that came with my sofa. These are strong and sturdy, and are much better than the all-plastic version I had. Installation was pretty simple, but the screws that came with it weren't great. I sheared the heads off two of them. Not sure if that was a me-problem or something else. Fortunately, I was able to reuse most of the screws that were still attached to the old, existing plates. In the end, I got them installed and they're doing exactly what they're supposed to do, so I'm happy.

Good quality, was able to fit on our large L shaped sectional with a chase lounge. Easy to install with 2 people, could probably be done with 1 person, but maybe a little challenging. We have 3 kids and 2 dogs and this couched is used every day, and there has been no separation of the couch sections on our sectional.

I have a sectional couch that is in two pieces and didn't come with any type of hardware to connect the two pieces together so they wouldn't slide apart whenever somebody took a seat. So I ordered a different set of connectors which were the hooked ones and those didn't fit right on my couch do to all the extra fluff padded on the insides of the two pieces. So I decided to try these since they can be installed underneath on the bottoms of the couches. And I'm glad I did because they worked perfectly and are sturdy!! They were very easy to install and come with all the hardware and screws as well as some general instructions on how to properly install them. My couch stays put and you can't even tell that the two pieces are separate. And you can't see the connectors since they are on the bottom of the couch. Very happy with this purchase!! I would definitely purchase from here again if I ever needed more!

Are you able to make them work? Probably. But there are two things to know about this product: (1) The fastener screws are poor quality. The heads strip easily—even with a hand screwdriver—and in one instance one of the screw heads just sheared right off. I pre-drilled the hole and everything / was drilling on low torque. (2) the plastic catches get super tight toward the inner locks, so if your couch doesn’t have a lot of padding between section, this probably isn’t the right setup for you because the mechanism won’t allow the sections to come close enough to one another.

Been using the steel version for about two and a half years now and they are still going strong. We love them. We have an 80lb dog that jumps on and off the couch with force and they’ve never come undone.

Worked for a few months but they slip off.

Our La-Z-Boy sectional had a smaller version of these clips and they constantly moved around. My wife was ready to get rid of the couch it was so annoying. These are much higher quality and are compatible with the original “teeth”. That means I only had to replace the clamp side. They have not budged at all, and I would highly recommend them. Todo está perfecto, se ven muy resistentes y mis sillones ya no se separan, me encanto. Le pongo 4 estrellas porque los tornillos se barren con facilidad Justo como dicen otros comentarios, tuve que usar varios para poder colocar o en su caso recomiendo que usen otros tornillos
