gave me the support I needed for my knee.

Unfortunately, the knee brace had been previously used and returned. There is a defect in the sewing that causes skin damage when wearing. The picture is after wearing for a 1.5 mile walk. The brace also slips slightly off the patella while walking. Tightening does not correct this issue. I will return this unit and hopefully Amazon doesn't send it out to another customer.

Background: Multiple lateral M trims and cleans. 2 weeks post op on latest. Doing great but increased lateral slipping (hopefully transient). Large was WAY too tight and XL has a lot of extra material. I got a "new in used box" for way cheap so I think I'll keep it, but for the fun amount it would be going back. I came in right down the middle of the L in both thigh and knee measurements and right in middle of XL for calf. The L was tight EVERYWHERE. In fact I only managed to get it on once, and only for a couple minutes. (im new to this type of brace and should have realized right away). Returned and got XL at 1/4 the price "like new in broken box". It was indeed brand new. It fits much better but there is extra material everywhere. Patella pocket lifts up when extended and the whole things looks like a diver in a wet suit 3 sizes too big. HOWEVER the hinges stay tight to my knee, lateral slipping has decreased greatly, and it's comfortable. I really feel like they need a size inbtween L and XL. Thanks!

I hurt my knee and needed a good brace so my knee won’t turn left or right but have full bend for normal walking. I have only had it a few days but it has been so great. It is a little warm so not sure I could work out in it. I got a second so I could wash it and let it dry. I even wore it the pool because I was scared of injury if I slipped at the pool.

This is the exact same one from the orthopedic doctor. But cost $60 less (yes even with insurance). The “fit” specialist gave me the model and the sku, bc he’s an independent contractor and doesn’t get paid to push the most expensive thing on his patients. The difference? No big name tag from the orthopedic office, advertising the name of the place.
