I don't have a Maglite flashlight, just a standard 2-D cell flashlight. Will this bulb work in it?

These LED's dont work with 2 D cell 1.2 volt rechargable batteries. There is some light but not enough to be of any use. Maybe 1 lumen. These LED's worked awesome and fit perfectly in my old 3 or 4 C-cell Radio Shack flashlight.

I just bought the kit for my 3 cell maglite and the led bulb that was going to replace the old bulb was to short by about a 16th of a inch

This bulb input voltage is 3V, so only fit standard D and C 2 Cells LED Maglite conversion
