Very good value - amazing quality at this price point
I'm not an audiophile, but for context my old Cowin E8 pros broke and I wanted an upgrade. I tested these against the following options - Bose QC 35i, Sony XM3 and XM4. The Bose and Sony were a tiny bit better on the noise cancelling, and I liked the style on the Sony's a bit better, but that's it, so they definitely weren't worth the extra $200 that they would have cost. The Wyze were actually better than the other options in terms of features (I think it has the best features from both the Sony and Bose options I tested), and comfort, and definitely value. Pros: - Very good noise cancelling - almost as good (maybe 95% as good) as the Sony/Bose near top of the line models - Great functional and practical features (two device bluetooth, buttons as well as touch controls, button to hear ambient noise as well as just cover the right ear cup to have a conversation, etc.) - Sound quality is good - I'm not an audiophile like I said, but I didn't note any issues - Microphone is really good - I work in my laundry/utility room in my basement currently (work from home, remodeling - one of the main reasons I wanted better noise cancelling headphones) - I've held calls with the dryer running right next to me and the person on the other side said they couldn't hear anything. - Unbeatable value - The higher priced models are just using their brand names to charge a ridiculous premium. This model has quality engineering at an unbeatable price. - Good comfort - the touch points are nicely padded. I preferred the larger/oval openings of the ear cups of the Bose and Sony's personally, but these are still comfortable and the headband on these is superior in comfort for wearing for longer periods/all day. Cons - Carry case is just a soft bag. It does have pockets for the included wires, but a hard case would be nicer - the Sony's had a really nice one. However, given the price point on these, I wouldn't really expect something better and the bag works/isn't low quality. - Occasionally I've had issues with sound cutting out on my computer when I'm connected to the computer and phone over bluetooth. It's sporadic but seems like turning the bluetooth connection on and off on my phone fixes it. A little annoying but the Sony and Bose also had their own annoying glitches, so it's not like it's a value issue (and may just be a user issue tbh). I really wanted to like the Sony's the most, but these were just too good of value and the Sony's had their own issues that just didn't justify their price. Returned the Sony's and stuck with these. I'd definitely recommend these if you're looking for max value and don't care about having a more recognized brand name on your headphones.

Great value
These are a great value for everyday use and I'm glad I went with this purchase. I have higher end audiophile headphones that will take another few months to be repaired and I bought these as a backup pair. User friendly out of the box, they seamlessly paired with two Apple devices. I frequently go between these devices without any issues. Yay! Pretty comfortable with nice soft pads that don't squeeze my head or hurt my ears after more than an hour of use. Decent bluetooth range, I've tested them going upstairs and outside. Haven't really pushed the battery limits yet. Decent active noise cancellation worked pretty good while vacuuming, haven't tried on a plane yet. Easy to toggle between ANC and transparency mode. Decent sound quality for different types of music as well as voice calls. Only quibble is I wish the pause/play button was more variably sized/ergonomic to press. It's hard to isolate it from the vol up/down. It might just take getting used to. Overall great value, exactly what I was looking for.

Decent headphones with some idiosyncrasies
After reading all the rave reviews, I took the plunge to purchase these since my old MPow H12's ear pads were in rough shape. I almost returned these within the first hour of listening. I couldn't understand why people were raving about them. The frequency response was atrocious with muddy mids, non-existant bass and highs. So I took them off and just played music on them for a while to break them in. Normally we do this for larger, high excursion speakers to loosen the stiffness. Fortunately this worked and the headphones started to come alive. But the response still wasn't great. Frankly, without the app, the response is mediocre at best and even with it there are still problems. More on that later. With the Wyze app installed, I started playing with the eq which gives you 4 frequency points to play with. There is 200Hz, 800Hz, 3kHz, and 8 kHz. Not what I would exactly call a comprehensive equalizer but better than nothing I suppose. At a moderate volume, I set the frequency response as flat for 200 and 800 and really cranked up the 3kHz (2/3 the way) and tapered off with 8kHz at 3/4 the way. But I had a problem... this sounded find for a fairly high volume (read higher mW power) but at lower volumes I was constantly increasing the bass to normalize the sound. After countless hours of music listening, I've concluded that these cans just simply aren't capable of linear frequency response as power power is provided. You basically have to set the EQ to near the power level you are most likely are going to listen to most of the time. If you start veering one direction or the other away from that set point, the headphones are going to sound off. The next problem I have with these headphone is the noise cancelation. By and large they work well with isolating outside sounds but that's not the issue. Closed back headphones by definition don't have a great width in soundstage and the Wyze are no exceptions to this generalization. With open back headphones, your soundstage gets significantly wider. My point of reference is my Sennheiser HD598's. However, what I didn't expect and I really don't understand is that the processing logic significantly narrows the soundstage. It's really obvious in music like Duran Duran's "Come Undone". For this reason alone, I can't fully recommend these headphones. Other quibbles, if you are listening to music at a moderate volume, you can't hear when the sound mode is changed from off, to transparency, to noise cancelation. You either need to use the app or pause your music to hear what mode it's on. The app gives you a general battery indicator in the default view, but you have to click on the gear icon to find out what your battery percentage is. Good luck trying to figure out your battery percentage outside of the app. The voice assistant is finicky at best imo; sometimes the double tap does something, sometimes not. Tapping harder doesn't seem to make a difference. I suggest keeping this disabled unless it's a necessity. Comfort, for me, is fair but there is some compression on the side of my face. Those with smaller heads will likely not find fault with the comfort. Given the 50% price increase since introduction, Wyze loses some value. It's a decent headphone but the most serious problems are the linearity of their frequency response with respect to the power input and the narrow soundstage when in noise canceling mode. Overall 3.5/5

Firstly, there's nothing to dislike about the headphones. I was really surprised at how great the quality is and how i can easily change from noise cancellation mode to transparency mode. The built-in voice assistant is just as amazing, it was able to detect my voice clearly and understand what song I'd like to play. The touch controls were also top notch in my opinion. Cupping the right ear to mute the song is so innovative and I like it because now, I don't have to remove my headphones completely to talk to a person. Great headphones overall. It's a good alternative if you cannot afford the trendy Sony Headphones.

I've been very pleased with the quality not in terms of sound but also the build bought these for my mother-in-law to watch TV and she has never had a complaint. They work perfectly with her TV
