One has a higher more gain structure for more overdriven tones. I use it it mostly for leads to help punch through a mix

does this be od deluxe sound fizzy in any way? i hate fizzy sound in overdrive pedals and i don't want to waste a bunch of money on one that is fizzy.

Yes, like most od pedals it has some fizz. I use a Boss noise gate pedal and it cancels out all of the fizzy. That said this is an awesome overdrive pedal.

whats a good 18v power supply to use with this?

I purchased the Dunlop ECB004 to use with mine, and it works very well. I also use the daisy chain from my Boss tuner that powers my other pedals when I don’t feel like using the extra outlet.
