Excellent book for learning German with frequent repetition of most commonly used words.

These books are so helpful for reading German especially if you know a hand full of words already. One of the best ways of learning and will definitely make your reading more fluid.

Some of the stories were a bit stupid, but on the whole fitting for adults. Also, some of the words repeated throughout a story; for retention, were not words my class would ever need to retain.

Absolutely brilliant, funny stories

A challenging read for those coming from Beginner to Intermediate. Olly‘s style though still makes the new words guessable until they have been learned.

I already had the beginners book on audio and liked the stories in that. This audio version also came up to standard. I use the audio books to get my ear in while travelling to Germany and love the stories. Would highly recommend.

I borrowed a library copy of this to revise my rusty German. A great, fun way to revise or improve German at an intermediate level. Key vocabulary with each chapter and a general glossary at the back, as well as questions to check understanding. I wish we'd had books like this when I originally studied languages.

Excellent education tool and at a great price

Well-written short stories for B1 level. The stories are well-suited for one-hour class sessions. Lots of past tense, and repetition of vocabulary to enhance learning.
