I hace a drain pipe that connects to a PVC culvert. I want to use this to bond the two togeather. The metel side is steel.

This is the stuff You want. You could stick a liberal to a cowboy and it'd hold!

Does anyone know what the shelf life of this product is once opened? Months? Years? It is great stuff to have on hand, but I use it rarely.

I asked the company support this same question just yesterday & got a reply in lightening time. According to Scott at pcepoxy.com: "Shelf life is 2 years and (will) usually exceed that by at least another year +. 2 years is just a benchmark , most likely what you have is OK to use, most of the time if it can be mixed it will work." I specifically asked about PC-11 and PC Clear. I suggest checking out the website pcepocy.com. Very informative and covers all their products very thoroughly. They even have a gallery of project photos and uses along with a great chart of applications and recommended products. It's a great reference.

How well does this bond to plastics?

I used it to repair some 21/2' pvc pipe and it seemed to work ok. i know it bonds very well to wood and metal. it says it works for boat repair. I mix it on a sheet of lexan, because i saw a repair tip that said pc-11 doesn't set up as quickly on lexan. i assume this means that it doesn't bond as well on lexan.

Can this item be returned?

Why? It is one of the handiest repair items you can have in your supplies. It lasts for years unless you mix the two parts.
