Went right on our 150 4 stroke Yamaha fuel system on the Keywest, hoping this paint job holds up better..
Went right on my fuel/water separator mount. 2005 Yamaha 150 4 stroke, mounts in the hull well right in front of the motor in our 196 Keywest Bayreef. Great thing to change about every 12 to 18 months. Some of the other filters like the Sierra I last had seem to rust faster, not positive yet but just a hunch, so I am not throwing them under the bus yet... Will be checking to see if this Yamaha paint job holds up better in the waters off Ft Myers. I have used the Sierra filters the last few times and they seem to rust too fast and actually had one rust all the way thru in the past and that pin hole stopped us from going anywhere and it was not easy to determine the issue. Do this preventative and you will have better boating days, worth it!! I'm hoping this more expensive Yamaha brand holds up better to our harsh salt water environment, silly to have the paint job on a filter stop you in your tracks...

Great fuel and water separator for 115 Yamaha 2022
Fits perfect on my 2022 Yamaha 115 hp 4 stroke. I recommend changing every 100hrs but you may be able to get 200hrs of these depending on how much water or ethanol is in your fuel. Always keep a spare in your boat. When you change them also remove the fuel in the internal fuel water separator inside the motor and switch out that filter as well.

Not much better out there…
As good and maybe a bit better micron protection as OEM water separator filters. Yamaha quality and reliability…This is the larger size, so should last longer and , not replaced as often. A bit pricey, but Amazon had them in stock and shipped them in a timely fashion..

Check the part number Yamaha has somehow made it more confusing
