PERFECT!
I bought a "bird mansion" cage on a stand with wheels, and I love that this cover, being open in the front, can be easily put on and removed without fighting a relatively tall cage because I'm short. The quality is great, the fit is perfect, and I highly recommend for larger cages.

Perfect size that fits as shown in pictures
UPDATE: This cover has lasted years but it has gotten a little ragged around the edges - my bad - because of being handled a bit too roughly when removed. I finally ordered another one - this time, a "like new" one - and I am pleasantly surprised that I not only got a great deal, but that it is in fact like new, and the material seems to be a little bit more enduring than the last one, plus the stitching seems to be stronger. I expect this one to last a bit longer, not only because it's more durable but because I will be more careful this time. It is the perfect size for my cage and provides the privacy my birds need at night. It's not completely dark inside, so they have a little bit of light in order to see to the extent that they need to. If I had not bought a "like new" one, I would have still paid full price for this. It's definitely worth it, in my opinion. I am so happy I finally found this. I have a 31 x 21 Prevue cage on wheels and recently made it into a "duplex" for 2 of my birds. The cover I had only covered the top and the guy on the bottom had to deal with being uncovered 24-7. This is so perfect for both of them and gives them the privacy and security they need at night. I made a little "playground" on the top of the cage, with ladders and perch, and this covers that as well as both birds' quarters. It's lightweight but provides just the amount of darkness they need. I don't know what size the negative review person bought but apparently it was too small and I'm glad I took a chance on this one. It's perfect!

Beats a blanket for birdie bedtime
I keep finches in a large cage, the "Prevue Pet Products Wrought Iron Flight Cage with Stand F040". This cover works great for covering them up at bed time. It's a little bit larger than the cage, but still fits nicely. The front panel of the cover can be flipped up, for easy access to the front of the cage. At bedtime, I leave the front open, giving the birds time to adjust and find a spot for the night, then I cover it completely after they settle in. The cover is made of black nylon and has been easy to spot clean. The seams are study. It's not fuzzy like a blanket, so bird poop doesn't really stick. It does a good job of blocking out light, but doesn't block it entirely. There are two fabric strap handles on the top panel of the cover, which make it easy to lift the whole thing off at once. Unfortunately, I knocked down a nest in my cage pulling it off. Many of my cage accessories hang with wires that can snag on the cover. I'm just more careful when removing it now. The cover came in a clear vinyl bag that I guess you could use to store it in, but there's no way I could ever fold it back as compact as it came. I just sort of roll it up and cram it on the shelf under my cage during the day. Overall I'm happy with this cover. It's way better than using a blanket!

A decent bird cage cover
A decent bird cage cover. It is thinner than I expected. It does not block out all the light, but is dark enough to block a good amount of light (it is used mostly for night time). The size is adequate. It has a split front so I can throw the front portion on top of the cage so the front of the cage is uncovered. I wished the other sides were split also to make it easier to uncover the cage without removing the cover from the top. I take the back and sides and bunch it up on the top of the cage as my birdcage is sitting in front of a window (she can see outside and get more light). Pros: It fits my extra large birdcage adequately. Light weight, easy to use. Cons: Material is thinner than I like, split only in front.

Dark Peaceful Sleep
My African Grey loves the cover. She is now getting 12 to 14 hours of dark sleep. Her behavior during the day has improved immensely.

Great bird cage cover!
Fits my bird cage perfectly! Provides darkness for rest and sleep. Light weight, front panel opens all the way which is good for transitioning to sleep/wake or to reduce stress. I haven’t figured out how to store it during the day but that’s minor.

Consider this the Chucky doll of cage covers
Ok, so this is the second one I’ve purchased and I finally have to break up with this cage cover. I bought it because Prevue bird cages have a great reputation, and they’ve earned that with their quality and reasonable price point. But by purchasing their covers, I was in for a rude awakening. I will try to keep it simple, by listing its pros and cons. But the best thing I can say about it is that it meets the definition of a cage cover, whereby it is intended for cages, and as defined by Webster’s, it is « a thing which lies on, over, or around something . ». PROS: -it covers the cage - your parrots will not suffocate (depending on how angry you may be at them at any given time, this may be a « con » for some (I am JOKING AND AGAINST ABUSE OF ANY ANIMALS, even bad, bad birds…). - It would be perfect to use as a prop in a theater production or school play CONS: - It’s thin. VERY thin. While I know that a cage cover needs to be sheer enough to ensure that air can flow through, it shouldn’t be so sheer it’s mistaken for a screen door- I can look through it and see not only the full spectrum of light, I can identify things that annoy my parrot while looking through it. While I always err on the side of caution when it comes to my Grey, it’s translucency makes it useless as anything but an annoyance and/or toy from Javert (I explain in my next con) - Javert doesn’t calm down OR go to sleep while it’s covered, because it blocks virtually nothing. And it hangs very close to the cage. I cannot tell you how many times I thought he was sleeping and instead saw a tiny bunch of this sheer « cover » be pulled into his cage. He gets agitated and bored and maybe he’s even openly hostile towards it, but he chews it up, and it being so flimsy, it gets destroyed quickly with very little time and effort required by him. (So it’s not even a GOOD toy); - I am so bad at sewing my mother banned me from getting near any sewing machine when I was young, I admit it, it’s not an exaggeration. But the combination of REALLY cheap material plus a sewing job I even I could have done better creates a situation that I’ll just describe as holes from chewing, plus lots and LOTS of fraying strands. (Picture a diabolical Christmas tree they sheds its weight in needles every day). Your vacuum will not know what hit it. So what you’ll have is a screaming parrot (with said « cover » on his cage), that’s traumatizing your whole home by creating more mess and work than if he had no cover at all. And I haven’t even mentioned that it will shortly after purchase look like you didn’t buy it but instead found the ragged sail from a yesteryear shipwreck. So unless you’re into the weathered wood and like the nautical theme, this cover will look terrible very fast. So no I don’t think it’s worth it. However, if you’re ok with random loose threads, and are ok with your parrot consuming it, if you have a place to keep the cage that is dark, but still need SOMETHING- as I said, it meets the definition. But this cover clearly is phoning it in, and that call is « coming from inside the house!!! ». (FYI I don’t know if any of you have dealt with a parrot who likes to eat things like cage covers, but I ultimately attacked dowels on each side to keep the fabric from touching the cage. The problem is that they hurt when you walk into them. But that’s another matter. I can’t in good faith recommend this cover. There are plenty of breathable covers out there that shield birds from at least some light… Quite frankly, in all honesty I think this was called a « cage cover » only ironically. And it’s not priced to be disposable, so the fact that you’ll be disposing of them pretty quickly also makes it a poor value. Don’t bother with it. Please note that the three categories for reviewing this are misleading as well, and don’t address the actual things necessary to make a cage cover good. Sheerness, easy to clean, and lightweight aren’t qualities I would ever look for in a cage cover. So don’t let the number of stars in the reviews mislead you- read the body of the reviews that address what is really important for a cage cover. Good luck! Good luck to you!

My birds seem to like their new home
My birds seem to like their new home, personally I love it, for the price it is strong, durable and huge compared to the one we upgraded from, they spent the first 3 days literally in one spot and didn't move until they realized there were other dishes in there with food and treats... Instructions kinda suck, but wasn't hard to figure out just going off illustration, said it was suppose to be a 2 person job, but I'm impatient, so I did it by myself, only took me about an hour, I'm a 5 foot tall small female so once I was done the cage was about as tall as me ,the wheels glide real nice across the carpet and wood floors, and are easily removable, we took our wheels of because our birds like to sit up high on a stand , I did need help lifting it, but not because it was heavy, but basically it was bigger then me when I was done😕 The cover fit the cage perfectly and my birds sleep so quietly until I open the cover in the mornings

Do not buy. Cancer label on item packaging
Do not buy. Sent back as when I opened the packaging after receiving it from USA, there is a label that states that the item is produced in California and there is a known fact of Cancer being caused (by the dye most likely that is used). Why would i buy that is known to cause cancer? Especially for birds being living organisms!!!! I contacted amazon and sent back for full refund!!
