Love this! I love the size
Love this! I love the size... My husbands Nathan QuickDraw is just not comfortable on my hand and the 22 ounces is more than I want to carry. I love that this is 18 ounces and I hardly feel that I am carrying anything at all because the strap is so well designed along with the shape of the bottle. It has roughened plastic on the sides to make it even easier to grip, but it fits my hand so well, it just self attaches -no need to grip. I recently tried two different ultimate direction handhelds... I hated them and returned them. People complain that this bottle leaks, but the alternative is an ultimate direction bottle that you can't get but a teeny tiny swallow of water after a great amount of squeezing and sucking. I love that this bottle lets me easily squeeze out a huge mouthful of water when I take a drink. I just keep it in my car's drink holder on my drive to the trail, then it goes in my hand, so I don't care if it leaks when lying on its side. Be sure to check all the color options for cheaper prices... I got the pink one for $18 and free shipping (prime). It's bumped up to $22 now. I have 2 and just ordered 3 more in different colors for my children to have on trail runs. I recommend the bottle colors that are slightly opaque (rather than the solid silver ones) as you can easily see how many ounces of water you have left. My 50 pound 8 year old loves it and said it fits his hand well. Oh... The pink color shows a round bottle, but it is actually the flat sided flask that ships. I wouldn't change a thing about this bottle... Love it!

Great running bottle
I'm training for a half marathon, and I usually use a hydration belt (one of those fanny packs with the little water bottles). I like my belt, but sometimes I'm just not in the mood to have something bouncing around my waist - that's why I bought this bottle. I bought it in the "cosmo" color - I love the pink, Maroon, and Orange together - it makes me want to take it along for the run. The sport cap is awesome - I hate having to fiddle with stuff while I run, this allows me to just keep going. And with the strap, I'm not actually holding on to the bottle for the whole run - as the other reviewers have mentioned, it straps to my hand and is just "there" - nothing to consciously have to keep a grip on. I like the capacity of this bottle - an 8 or 10 oz bottle just wouldn't be enough for me - I read a lot about runners who think taking water on runs under 10 miles is weak and I DON'T CARE :-) if I'm running 9 miles, you bet I need over 10 ounces to make it happen. Love this bottle, it's great quality and looks like it will last a long time.

Great size, comfort and ease of use. A couple downsides though.
I have always run with a four-bottle fuel belt which I came to detest after getting into triathlons. Just too cumbersome and too much weight. Not to mention all the bouncing. Given the number of aid stations in my events, this is the perfect running bottle. I am a heavy fluid drinker when I race so I do like having the option of additional fueling despite the aid stations. It contours to your hand very well, is super light and actually holds enough fluid to carry you through several miles. I haven't even used the pocket yet but it will be great for a couple additional supplements or maybe a drivers license, cash, credit car, keys, etc. The ONLY reason I did not give it five stars is because the little strap on the inside that keeps it from sliding off your hand keeps coming loose when I run. It's very easy to tighten it back up just by pulling it down but it happens and is a nuisance. The only other issue is that there is a tiny fabric band that runs across the back top of the lid. It will constantly slide down on to the threads of the bottle making it impossible to get a tight closing of the lid. This happened to me last weekend when running in very cold weather with gloves on. A lot of water came out of the top, soaked my gloves and I couldn't run with them because of how cold it was. If not for those two issues, it would definitely be a 5-star product but I will continue to run with it and may have to make a couple modifications.

Great size for 13.1 with refills on the course.
Read the reviews, and I totally agree: easy to carry without too much weight, like the bigger Camelbak bottles. I got it to take on the run for a half-distance Ironman, and it was perfect. I don't like to switch up my nutrition/electrolyte brands for a race, so carry the bottle, top off with water from aid stations, add my Nuun tablet if needed, and move along. Beats the heck out of trying to slow down and drink out of the little paper cups, too. The valve works nicely to allow sipping a bit at a time along the run, and doesn't leak too much. (Note: the first one that arrived had a totally defective valve, and Amazon was quick to send me another one, which is the one I'm reviewing. I love Amazon's return policy!)I found the strap very comfortable. No weird rubbing or chafing, and easy to switch hands. Pocket fits my iPhone 4 and a gel or two. I love it!

Nice little bottle!
I used this for my first half marathon last weekend and it worked really well. I put my energy chews in the pocket and it was pretty easy to open and close the zipper one-handed. The pocket isn't big enough for my LG G3, but maybe a smaller phone would fit. It's easy to drink from it while running, although there doesn't seem to be a way to close it so you need to keep it upright when full or it will leak. I like the grip with the thumbhole, so you don't have to actually grip it, it just sits on your hand.It was pretty comfortable for most of the race, although my thumb did go a bit numb by mile 11 or so. I'm glad I got this!
