1) Choose the correct interface for the slot type. 2) Push the product to the end of the slot while tightening. 3) Product needs to be perpendicular to the surface when tightened (if tilted, spacers can be used to make it perpendicular).

An adapter can be made using a 7/8” diameter or larger fender washer with #6 or 5/32” or larger center hole (available at hardware stores). Simply unscrew the flat interface, put it through the washer, and re-install the interface with the washer.

What do I do if there's NOT ENOUGH GRIP-RANGE (interface extension) to mount the Keyhole Companion in the keyhole slot?

Insufficient grip-range (interface extension) can occur if the keyhole slot material is too thick, if a recess is cut too deep, or as a result of the use of spacers. The remedy is to partially unscrew the interface to increase the product grip range.
